Various testers for the hotly anticipated Cold War Rearmed (or CWR) modification have recently been releasing multiple teaser screenshots for us to drool over in anticipation of the mod. Is the release date close? Who knows (we don't!), but what we do know is that the mod sure is shaping up well!
You can find many more screenshots from around page 104 onwards in the BI Forums' Combat Photography thread.

Vilas released a quick fix for his WW2 Units & Weapons BETA on our forums
WW2 pack will updated too, because "just reskins" were not satysfying me from begining
now, when i can do custom models, i made "QUICK FIX" to WW2
it is not full NEW version, because FULL NEW requires: normalmapping on weapons, shadows for weapons, completly made new gear, collars, other details
remember this is just "quick fix" version, to replace old reskinned models !!!
new version has 1 WEAPONS CONFIG there is no 4 useless version, i made trick in which playability is better

ObmaR has posted some new about Bush War Mod WIP and two screens of Cuito Cuanavale island on the Bush War Mod site.
Ebud has been hard at work with our mini-mod island "Cuito Cuanavale" which will form part of our teaser mini-mod release early next year as soon as we have our basic units and weapons completed.
Berghoff has kindly started donating some of his African trees which he has been making for our island. Ebud is busy giving the island the dry African savanna feel and look which is typical of the Cuito region in Southern Angola. Island will include various types of African huts and colonial buildings typical of the region, the most prominent being the Herero Tribal "Grass and Mud huts" homes. I am in the process of making some terrorist camps based on Marxist guerrilla tactics of temporary forward staging camps made of stick and grass shelters.
We have started testing the beta "Cuito" island and is already looking good with some of Berghoff's African Acacia trees (African Umbrella thorn tree) which are the most predominant vegetation along with the huge but scarce Boabab trees and the dry savanna Elephant grass.
Aerial screen of the island looking South of the Lomba valley and towards the Namibian Border. The island contains 2 distinct types of African savanna, dry savanna to the North and semi arid to the South.
We are nearly done with the Alouette III's, Pumas and our new pilot models and I will have an update with screens by mid next week. We will be releasing the Pumas, Alouette IIIs and pilot add-ons before Christmas. We will also be announcing the date for our mini-mod release by end of January 2008.

Bobo8767 has posted some screenshots of his Police units on the BI Forums.
This is my latest WIP project, reskinned urban style police units. They arent based on anything in particular, just a swat style police force. The first two units are done and the rest (5 altogether) should be finished by the end of this week. I also plan to reskin some vehicles to go with them in a future release. Coming Soon! -bobo

EricM has posted two pictures of his Mi-24 Hind gunship on the BI Forums.
Hi all, A long time ago I started to model a hind, then for various profesional and personal reasons it got shelved (mainly because RHS Hind was there already and there was no hurry). Lately I got back on the project and learned the basics of O2 and materials and the model is now almost complete. I'm having some troubles with the config files, but hey... at least it's in the game. It has normal and specular maps with rvmat files, and very few different textures, so that it's easier to edit. With a bit of luck it'll be ready to release soon. At least as alpha-beta version.
Cheers, Eric
