Schnapsdrossel has released his Civilian addon on the BI Forums.

I made the civilians available under the Independant and the Civilian side, just for you ;)
And here it is, SchnapsdroSel's civilan pack ...
It's compatible with mercenaries 0.5b

  Single player artillery v1.6 by Viper released Addon release    
Viper169th has released a v 1.6 updated version of his Single player Artillery addon on the BI Forums.

Version 1.6
1. fixed rounds to actually fire the exact number of rounds
2. your allowed 1 spot round per aimpoint now it will go away after initial fire it also is automatic after selection you don't need to hit fire for effect.
3. fixed various issues with ver 1.5


Version 1.5
1. added spot rounds to all units just select it will fire when firemission ready
2. leaders now don't need to be named script assigns automatically <-- Thanks snoop
3. changed DPICM to use more powerful and direct bomblets
4. Only time you'll get a marker on rounds is when the spot round being fired

  XAM 1.6 released Addon release    


snake22000 has informed us about XAM 1.6 release. It's a beta released to be followed by a final release. XAM 1.6 is build up according a much different design from previous version, and is featuring a lot of enhancements especially along the AI behavior. Full auto install file in downloadable archive.

New
- Completely new architecture
- Latest extented event handlers used

Optimization
- New Dynamic AI system (more than 1500 sentences)
- New "soundscape" system for audio natural environment
- Audio part of the mod much more better
- AI enhanced
- Effects enhanced
- Realistic weather (thunder realistic simulation)

Correction
- new Dynamic AI system (more than 1500 sentences) > - new Dynamic AI chat system (more than 1500 sentences)
- many Default weapons models replaced HD weapons
- BTR80, BTR90

I think thats good ^^ new little features will be coming in next beta.

  31st NORMANDY MOD - WW2 C47 fix released Addon release    
Rip31st has released a fix for 31st NORMANDY MOD - WW2 C47 plane on the BI Forums.

-This fix addresses the nonconformant texture and makes it conformant with industry standards. My apologies to those out there that were having issues.
-This fix also adds a cargo position next to the pilot so the pilot no longer rides alone up front.
-This fix also places crew in their proper spots so they appear to be riding where they are supposed to be.
-This fix also removed the flickering surface on the tail of the C47.

  Hippie Funland released Addon release    
Loki released an alpha version of his Hippie Funland map on the BI Forums.

Here is an alpha release...

A few things...

Auto landing works.. but i have to finish the airport ai stuff. No ladders or addactions work... how in the hell do i run a script from the map?!.. it seems as if everything becomes a nul object once i place it in visitor.

Only 1/3 of the map is finished. (if mission making.. don't get too comfortable.. yet... ..alpha..remember..)

umm.. no addons needed... OH.. most important.. thank you to al simmons for his ambience pack and permission to use them

  Russian Airborne Armour Project Screenshots    
Soul_Assassin posted two new screenshots of his latest work on the BI Forums.

Time for a little update :),

After a bit of pondering I decided that I really wasn't satisfied with the texturing that I did previously so I sat down to re-do it. And thanks to some tips here and there I think i got it better this time :). Besides the old textures were way too dark according to alot of people. So, here's the result:

Hope you people like what you see ( ignore the number alpha errors :)) Still loads to do as usual but getting the hang back of 02 including the blasted shadowLod.

Btw I am working on a comprehensive texturing tutorial which will cover all the techniques I used above like getting the specular and normal maps + setting up the basic rvmat. I would expect it to be done next weekend.

  31st Normandy Mod ATI users patch Addon release    
Rip31st has released an ATI users patch for his 31st Normandy Mod on the BI Forums.

This patch resolves ATI users error code by replacing a size 4444 conformant texture with a DXT5 texture. However everyone will need to download and install this patch as these pbo's are signed.
This should resolve any issues ATI users have with the C47,Jagdpanther,M4A4, and PZ4H.
IF further problems exist please contact me via Armaholic of BI forums.
Installation instructions:
-EXTRACT TO YOUR ARMA FOLDER and overwrite existing files.

  Single player artillery by Viper updated Addon release    
Viper169th has released a v 1.4 updated version of his Single player Artillery addon on the BI Forums.

Version 1.4
1. Added spot round to the M119 and D30 "name 1 unit VM119 for M119" "name one unit VD30 for D30"
2. Artillery now fires rounds instead of Salvos <-- please note units may fire 2 rounds if you pick only one
especially the mortars because of the reload times are quicker
3. Mortars rounds are set to 75 rounds with a Max of 300 rounds
4. M119 & D30 rounds are set to 150 rounds with a max of 300 rounds
5. Mortars now have a yellow spot round
6. added VO.2's new sound pack for voice overs
7. decreased time from DPICM airburst and bomblets hitting ground
