AimPoint has once again updated his Desert Weapons Pack over at the BIS Forums. The latest version adds 19 more desert painted firearms to Armed Assault.

Linker Split informed us that BergHoff released a beta version of his African Vegetation Pack in the BIS Forums.
I've been working on this for a while (on and off for weeks :P). And now here's a public beta. Some models haven't been completed yet so don't blame me if an AI shoots you through 1m trunk :D .
Also there will be some more new models added in future releases aswell.

Vilas has informed us he has again updated his VIBI addon.
new VIBI, version 1.02
fixes:
- stronger 25 mm cannon ammunition, because it was too weak, and not changed by my since 1.07 definitions, now it is few times stronger, along with BIS after 1.08
- a 5% weaker Abramses

Our newsposter and good friend Rellikki has updated his SLA units and released his SLA Redux Packs on our forums.
Allow me to present: SLA Redux Packs by Rellikki. These three addons come up with redux versions of the BIS SLA troops with main purpose of them being to bring you SLA troops without the Interceptor body armor, as I thought that it was unrealistic to have an Eastern world nation with Western world equipment. I also made desert and urban warfare versions of them to be used in different environments.
They are updated versions of my previous SLA addons, though they are not compatible with each other, since I had to change the classnames, because I was using an addon tag which was already registered to someone else - RLK. My new one is REL, as you can probably see from the file names while downloading the addons....

Gnat has released his V-22 Osprey Tilt-Rotor aircraft on the BI forums.
Using Sole/Wipmans OFP V-22 model as a base I invested many hours into finding a solution to the age old problem of getting it to work in a BIS game.
Used various config and animation tricks to get it flyable.
Only need someone like eddyD to something better than my very average attempt. ;)
Constructive feedback and suggestions appreciated.

FischKopp and addon maker well known from OFP has released his Cold War Operations Addon Pack 1 in the BIS Forums.
This Pack is the first release Of the Cold War Operation (CWO) Modification and contains 4 add-ons.
- Mk. 19 MOD3
- M2 HMG
- M923 5t truck (MERDC european winter camouflage)
- M923A1 5t Truck (CARC woodland camouflage)
All included add-ons are still in development and some things are missing, like specular maps, more detailed textures (mud and dust) and other things.

hamis informed the community on the BIS Forums that nikietha released his Russian Army Voice Conversion on Flashpoint.ru.
Thanks to our Russian Section Admin MODUL, he translated the readme into english.
This sound conversion adds the standard Russian Army radio protocol to the OPFOR side. Meaning that the OPFOR side will be speak russian and no longer english.
Not tested on MP.
