Naoyuki informed the community that he is working on a Su-33 Flanker, and released several new screenshots.
It is making it by a slow pace. The cockpit and the texture are being made. Cockpit 20%. Texture 75%. think that I put out the beta version when all textures of the airframe end.

Rellikki informed us that he released a new version v1.0 of his Chernarussian Red Army Troops on the BI Forums.
Major changes are as follows: - Added some variency between the characters - Improved textures and models - New classes: APC Crewman, Tank Crewman and Pilot - Fixed the faction error caused in the game patch v.1.04
This update contains those new helmets and soldiers with rolled up sleeves which I've been showing, to add some variency to the characters. I've also improved the textures and models generally some bit too.
As per special request from Cole, I've made two configs for the addOn: English config and multilanguage config. The reason for this slightly weird system is to support owners of non-multilanguage ARMA 2 copy, who wish to use this addOn with English displaynames, but cannot set it in the game's options.
I'd like to thank all the translators (listed below), who helped me to translate the units' displaynames into all the game's official languages in the multilanguage config and also to correct some of the vanilla game translations.
The archieve also contains an optional replacement addOn, which replaces the original OPFOR insurgent troops (ChDKZ) with my addOn.
Credits: - BIS, Ebud and CWR Mod for the base models and textures - Aelin, Benoist, Cervo, Cole, Diversant, Old Bear, SaS TrooP and The.D for translations of the displaynames to different languages

Gnat has released his Sands map, a 41km Desert Terrain, in Beta state on the BI Forums.
SANDS - BETA 0.1
Also includes a very rushed crCTI Warefare (last tweaked prior by Squeeze) to suit. Air transport added to start, along with cheap Aircraft God knows its probably badly unbalanced
Obvious the ISLAND is a BETA, BETA , I repeat Beta i.e. thats just one little step more than an Alpha release
The South West area contains some experimental terrains (ie object dumps), so interested to see which people think a) looks ok b) works ok
All airfields are AI friendly Have fun

Gnat informed the community that he has released an beta 2 version of his Boeing B-52H Stratofortress "BUFF" on the BI Forums.
A quick and dirt beta for ArmAII ! Far from tweaked or even to ArmAII quality expectations. As I head off for a month I thought in conjunction with the beta release of Sands 41km Terrain (See HERE), I thought I might throw this out, as it suits the big terrain of Sands with the airbases.
Some changes from the OFP release (wow, 4 years ago!) - Some textures are ArmAII types - Flexing wings - Improved engine cells
Only armed with 84 bombs, but damn they sounds great as a distant rumble hitting the ground AI are ok'ish at bombing, except the diving looks ugly.
More in the README file. check it out.

nichevo has released a Coop 1-8 Terror from the Seas mission on the BI Forums.
The mission is designed for 1 to 8 players in co-operative multiplayer.
Mission features: * No addons required. * User-selectable objectives. There are three different objectives -- neutralising the insurgent leader, destroying a stash of supplies, or taking out an enemy mortar position. Choose to do any one alone, or if you have the time, try to do all three. * User-selectable difficulty setting: you choose how many enemies there are -- "Tiny", "Small", "Medium" or "Large". * User-selectable time-of-day. Play the mission at any time. * Random enemies -- all soldiers have random equipment and skill levels. All squads have randomly varying sizes and most follow randomised waypoints. This allows for greater replayability as the mission is never the same twice. * Random weather. * Uses the BIS first aid modules -- if you get hit there's a chance your comrades can drag you to cover and apply first aid. * Custom spectate script. No player-controlled crows!
