Nicholas Bell has released his long awaited Razani Map Beta v.50 on our Forums.
Razani is a 10 km x 10 km map based on an area in North Waziristan in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan. The area is currently controlled by the Taliban and has numerous Al-Qaeda training camps. Razani is on the main highway between North Warziristan's two largest towns - Miranshah and Razmak. Please read the enclosed README file for important information. Not just the usual legal stuff, but facts you will find useful. If you do not read the README, it will be obvious when you ask questions or make comments.
This is a work-in-progress - a "snapshot" of where I am at right now - and is missing 95% of the structures which will be on the map when it is complete. So understand this clearly - THERE IS ONLY ONE SMALL VILLAGE ON THE MAP at this time (there will a lot more in future updates).
If you cannot deal with a map that is not 100% complete or is missing these features, PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FILE. There is no point in wasting your time, getting frustrated and using some hosting sites bandwidth for something you will not enjoy. :) I have received positive feedback about this map from users regarding its use on mid-range computer systems, despite the fact it contains over 1,745,000 objects. As always, the key factor is setting the maximum view distance.
Note : If you don't have Queen's Gambit installed, you'll lose half the grass clutter, one rock type and one bush type.

Right now everything is ready except for the ANA pickup which I'm waiting for MLOD's on so I can create a proper signed verson. But until then, here are a couple more pics of the ANA troops and the SPG-9 (and a couple of the updated Taliban).

ObmaR from the Bush Wars Conflict Mod has released an updated Bush Wars GUI and an updated Puma addon on the Bush Wars Mod Site.
We have been busy updating all the existing addons as well as adding new stuff. We are releasing our Bush Wars Themed Graphic User Interphase and MOD Folder installer. Its not the final version . We will be releasing the soldier units this week so as soon as that is done. We would like the community to take some ingame screen shot and combat photography of our units and weapons in action. The best 12 screenshots will be included in the 4 different background screen (the second screen to the right in the picture below) of the GUI. There will be a final update before the ArmAII release.
Updated the Puma pack to version 1.15 and added the South African uprated version of the Aerospatiale Puma 330 named the "Oryx". We have included a wench with a scrip which is still under development. The wench animation work quite well so we have a basis for the concept. The same wench script with different wench model has been added to the AlouetteIII S&R. Hopefully we should have the scripts ready for the ArmAII release.
This week we will be adding the soldier units (SADF, 32 Battalion, SWAPO, FAPLA) with our custom weapons pack. The SADF and 32 Battalion addons will include a custom Mortar crew with a transportable 81mm mortar. The 81mm mortar addon is the South African smooth bore type and includes custom mortars and an innovative fire script.
The Mod will be adding the African Huts pack as a standalone addon for mission makers to place on islands for African type missions.
