Telejunky has informed us about an unexpected find Red has posted about on the BI Forums : The 3D-Editor ! Be advised that it is not officially released and there are still some bugs and it is not "polished for us"
Press alt-e in the main menu of the game. You'll get the 3d editor, which starts in map mode first. However it's very clunky at the moment, you may or may not want to use it.
Edit : Ohara a BI Developer, has posted this on the BI Forums : we expect that we will "open" it by some patch, its there, but need some tweaking

Norrin has released a set of scripts using the attachTo command on the BI Forums.
Scripted Ride On APC : Practical uses of the attachTo command Part 1 Description Suite of scripts that allows up to 4 players to ride on the top of an APC. From there they can stand, crouch, turn around, shoot reload and disembark
Put Bike in pick-up : Practical uses of the attachTo command Part 2 revision 1 (080609) Description A script that allows you to put a bike on the back of a pick-up, drive it round then unmount the bike.
Put car in C-130 : Practical uses of the AttachTo command Part 3 Description A script that allows you to put a car or hummer etc in the cargo section of a C-130, fly it round then unmount the vehicle.
Move to helicopter door and fire : Practical uses of the AttachTo command Part 4 Description A script that allows you to move from the seat position within a UH-1 to the door way so that you can fire outside while the chopper is moving.

[GLT]Myke has released a Footmunch/eddy D F-16 Fighting Falcon, ported to ArmA 2 on the BI Forums.
This addon adds the F-16 Fighting Falcon to ArmA 2. It is completely based on Footmunchs/eddyD's F-16 1.9 for ArmA 1. This addon will add one new faction "US Air Force" (USAF) and 4 variants of the F-16.
All: M61A1 with 500 rounds.
* F-16 Multirole - 2x AIM9x Sidewinder - 2x AIM120 AMRAAM - 2x AGM65 Maverick - 2x GBU12
* F-16 CAP - 4x AIM9x Sidewinder - 4x AIM120 AMRAAM
* F-16 Bomber - 2x AIM9x Sidewinder - 6x GBU12
* F-16 AGM - 2x AIM9x Sidewinder - 6x AGM65 Maverick
This addon makes use of the new ArmA 2 feature of holding multiple weapon proxies.

 NoRSu informed us that FDF Mod will continue on in ArmA 2, and has published a new picture of their early work in progress Nh90 helicopter.
I'm pleased to announce that FDF Mod will continue on in ArmA 2.
At the moment it's too early to say how we will proceed and what is our schedule but here's a little something for starters:

Kegetys has released a Noblur mod on the BI Forums. This mod disables the motion blur and optionally the "bloom" postprocessing effects from ArmA 2 game version v1.01 final.
It allows disabling the motion blurs and optionally the "bloom" as well. Disabling the motion blur effect seems to increase the fps as well, an official fix would propably increase it a bit more since this one just replaces the PS effect with a direct copy "effect".

Muecke has informed the community about the release of CRCTI Warefare MP missions by Squeeze from OGN clan on the BI Forums.
Hi folks, Squeeze from OGN clan just instruct me to post his MP mission in BIS forum ! Its the CRCTI Warfare MP mission!!! Yes its the famous CTI modus made by Cleanrock ported from OFP->ArmA1->ArmA2.... This mission is still in work but its very good playble now. I dont want to explain the hole mission just in short words: -West vs East vs Resisitance- To win you have to conquer the Island means capture all towns (townwin), or find enemybase and destroy it (destruction) !!!

VictorFarbau has released a FPS Saver addon (VFFPSS) on the BI forums.
VFFPSS is an addon to be used on client machines (it will quit on servers). It is a logic object that can be placed in custom missions and it will be run once the mission starts. VFFPSS will take measures to dynamically adjust quality settings in order to squeeze out more FPS. Why is this a game logic and not a standard addon to be used in all missions / campaigns? It is in a POC state (proof of concept) and I need to put more work into this should this be found useful by more people then myself; and actually myself as well So, enter the editor and place a logic object "VFFPSS Logic" on your map and off you go.

ArMaTeC has released a "spawning" script for the LHD (Aircraft Carrier) and released it on the BI Forums.
I created this simple script that you can now create the Aircraft Carrier any where on the map and on any island Example mission and script
Myke has released an addon version of the script and released it on the Armaholic web site.
Excellent script, armatech. I've created an Editoraddon out of it which adds the LHD in the Editor under WEST/USMC/SHIPS/LHD and also under EMPTY of course.
It uses 100% of armatech's script so full credit to you mate. I've just packed a config and Editor Icon with it. Also added 2 lines to the script to make sure it runs server-side only.
