Desert units are almost completed. Just got a few more skins to do. Here's some pictures, I didn't want to edit them because they always end up looking like crap if I do, so here they are in super quality uneditedness. So if you've got some kinda super computer this is what it'll look like ingame. For me however, these were taken at around 2fps.
Protegimus from the CSM Team just released a beta of their Sound Mod 2 for ArmA 2 version: 1.05 on the BI Forums.

Try this CSM2 beta release for ArmA 2 version: 1.05, still lots of work to do to refine it and produce CSM3, but combat is pretty intense and thanks to Chammy it has CSM DNA at its core.
It works with version 1.05 and ACE2 and is configured for ACE support by default.
Hopefully between Chammy, Andersson, Mark, vo.2, myself and anyone else that has time and skill to dedicate and contribute, I'm sure we can co-ordinate efforts to produce the best quality sounds for ArmA2.

CSM2 is heavily focussed on weapon and combat sounds. When you are in the midst of a firefight our aim is that you will enjoy immersion to the point where you are genuinely surprised at times.
Reference work is included with full permission from the original authors where the standard is considered to be already at a level that significantly adds to enjoyment of the game, with the benefit that it is tailored and balanced to work well together with CSM2.
Lots of people are using on-board audio with software rendering - do yourself and the industry a favour and buy a decent dedicated hardware sound card! It will provide better quality audio and lower CPU utilisation and encourage the game industry to take better advantage of hardware features, improving game immersion and help prevent the "just good enough" malaise from spreading.
New features: G36 and G36K variant CQB reflex sight is available for all fire modes in addition to the optical sight.
Use your weapon fire mode key (default F) to cycle sequentially through the available fire modes: Semi --> Burst --> Automatic --> Semi (CQB) --> Burst (CQB) --> Automatic (CQB)
Acutres informed us that he published a video showing his latest work on his WIP island Kulima.
For some time now revamped its small island Kulima to ArmA 2.
I try to approach the faithful to reality. Emphasis on the appropriate distribution of vegetation and buildings. There's still some details to add and remove the resulting errors.

STALKERGB informed us on our forums that he released version v1.1 of his UKSF Units.
Anyway, I've decided to update the UKSF again, changed the Assualt Style units with this update.
- Added MICH helmets to them, replacing the thing (i.e. mess) I had on before. - Also put on the Norotos(?) NVG mount - And added a new headset (not great txtures on it though). - Changed a couple of the pouches on the Engineer too. - Fiddled around with bits in the config too, shouldn't be noticeable though, just made it slightly neater.
Hopefully V1.1 should work without error, the reports of there being issues with my units under certain conditions is, as far as I can tell, not directly caused by them. I have been unable to replicate any of the problems brought up on my computer. AFAIK some people have had AI issues with 1.05 which could be the cause.
IceBreakr told us that Sahbazz of SBP Team completed version v1.0 of his Molatian Army. That is an official army for North of IceBreakr Isla Duala map.
