Massi has informed us about the release of an updated Italian Special Forces v1.082 addon on our Forums as well as a SOF AB412 chopper pack.

-Fixed "multicam" light recon units textures. -Fixed "vegetata" textures. -Crews now come in "desert" and "vegetata" uniforms. -Added an ACE2 optional config file (to be used only with ACEX). -Added another replacement file for "desert" environment islands.
And this is just a small Extra for all the Italian SOF users… They’re 4 models ingame, one standard and one with Medical abilities for both the 2 camos. They require Italian SOF v.1.082 (look just above for them), and once installed you’ll find them in the editor under: Bluefor - Italian SOF - Italian Army aviation So now our Italian Spec Ops don’t need to go always around on foot !!!
Rip31st has informed the community on the BI Forums about the release of a patch .99b for the 31st Normandy mod.
A patch is available that resolves most of the missing textures and resolves most CTD's. Also adding some new equipment. Please review the readme in patch .99b for further details.

IceBreakr informed the community that he has released his Afrenian Army addon for Arma 2's Isla Duala island on the BI Forums.
With the help of LoBo and GIR Team Afrenian Army got its first unleased vehicle for army & police operations: Pinzgauer 710M 4x4! zGuba, Panda, NZDF Crash, wld427 & Randy put extra effort in the project and I would like to thank them for all their work, help and support. You guys are great.
Known issues: - Vehicle floats at the back if both wheels get blown off - Cabin windows don't break properly yet - Rpgs can rip through the back soft cover (feature? heh) - "Polisie" written backwards on the right side (texture optimization, unable to fix)
Guys, be extra careful offroading with pinz. New 2.7-litre engine can produce severe torque and vehicle can be very fragile when hitting solid objects (tnx Cpt. Obvious!).

Разоренный which is Razoreniya, "ruin", a Soviet settled island near Madagascar, the name means ruin.
Description: 5.12 x 5.12 km
I wanted to go for the tropical[ish] Africa, so there's some near-jungle around as well as the typical savanna-type places.
There isn't a lot of settlement, though there is a ruined Soviet city in the west and scattered farms other small constructions about the place. This is partly due to taste and partly because I want mission makers to have plenty of room and not be locked into a set plan.

"Invasion" is a 1-32 player COOP mission created by Pac (mission-design and scripting) and SFG (music).

D-Day Omaha Beach, Easy Red Sector, players must breach the sea wall and secure a foothold on the beach. After clearing the beach defenses along the bluff, push inland and secure several towns defended by dug-in German infantry in well prepared positions to kick off the Allied advance into Normandy.
stubblehopper has informed us about the release of a new YouTube video featuring units of his upcoming Sharpe's Rifles mod.
Here's a preview of the South Essex Regiment, for the Sharpe's Rifles mod, I'll be doing a vid for every unit that appears in the mod. They are almost complete, just a few tweaks in terms of minor things like shoulder wings, and short sword for the drummers and so, but in terms of the models about 99% done anyways.

Version .99a Notes: Fixed players respawning in single player missions with modern weapons, added US 60mm mortar classes to each parent class of US infantry. Code provided in this readme addresses multiplayer issue of spawning/respawning without weapons.
