R3F-Clint from the R3F Team has released a [R3F] A.C.V. : Live Virtual Studio Creations set of scripts on the BI Forums.

Features :
For many months, in private, our team use a set of scripts that allows game live to create units, groups, or with their empty vehicle crews, buildings, objects, etc., and to ensure their full management during the game, move, delete, etc. ..

* The parameters available in the mission editor to Arma2 can be initialized in the creation of unity, power, direction, flying under the command or not the user,
* The management of checkpoints, creating, editing, moving, deleting.
* The user is invincible and neutral, he can teleport or use a camera.
* The players and their directions are indicated.
* It is also possible to enter command lines or scripts in a full window and execute them.

  ASZ Mission Pack1 by CimaleX Mission release    
CimaleX has send us his ASZ Mini-Mission Pack1 for Pedagne Mod. The pack contains 3 sp mission on Chernarus and Utes.

After the release of the Pedagne Mod big units pack here my first mini mission pack for Pedagne Mod by ASZ.

The first three missions are set up in Chernarus after that Harvest Red have failed, and the USMC are forced to retreat.
Lopotev takes control of most part of the Chernarussian territory and makes up a totalitarian regime with its bases in the CRA (Chernarussian Red Army) natural evolution of the Chedackys better trained and armed by the Russian federation.

The Lopotev regime fails in the pacification of the territory and a sporadic but bloody guerrilla flashes between the new official chernarussian state on one side, and former CDF elements allied with NAPA on the other.
U.N. assembly vote a resolution against the Lopotev regime to solve the tense situation once and for all and send NATO forcing the CRA to retreat from Chernarus by military force.

1 – Operation Fire Storm: Several NATO countries are giving their contribution to the main mission named as “Operation Red Harvest II”, the Italian assault Paracommandos of 9th Rgt Col Moschin (Special Forces) are sent to take control of the Utes airstrip with the purpose to prepare a FOB for future operations.
2 – Joint Operations: After the successful invasion of Utes island, NATO launches a massive strike to the southern part of Chernarus, involving French, US and british armoured to the south-west, and Italian, Spanish and US airborne and mountain units to the south-east.
Italians are called to take control of Krasnostav and nearby airstrip with their alpine troops and paratroopers.
3 – Red Dawn: Some months after the conventional war is over, but with the increasing of anti-guerrilla and peacekeeping operations especially in the northern side of chernarus, close the RF borders.
This time the alpine troops are called to defend a volatile chernarus border line against bitter ender chedackys supported by several Russian troops commanded by mutiny Russian high rank officers.

For this mini mission pack it’s necessary Pedagne Mod full pack with hotfixes and Rellikki CRA units, ArmA2 v.10.5

Enjoy and stay tuned for next days release of the second mini-mission pack, this time set up in Sahrani during the conflict of summer 2007.

  Jungle Wars: Island of Lingor Screenshots    
IceBreakr informed the Community about his upcoming 4th island project for Arma 2. Its the fictional island of Lingor.

Inspiration
Inspiration for the project is that I've been waiting for years for a proper optimised jungle map.
You have to understand that vegetation full map is a whole different matter in BIS engine. PCs that were able to run Duala/Jade Groove on max settings & view distance 5000m+ will probably only have sufficient FPS with 1000-1500m distance on Lingor. That concerns mostly the pilots (jets/mid-alt choppers). Grunts will have to cope with limited visibility so that won't affect them. Flying with UH-1 just above tree tops is also fps sufficient. ArmA2 engine doesn't handle well thick forests in areas bigger than 1km. So I will try to break up large view-distances with couple of hills.

Second inspiration comes from three different things. First is the board game by Stefan Dorra named Amazonas, that I just love. Board game features a nice amazon river and many villages to occupy. Hopefully Lingor scenery will be a bit similiar with the river setting.

Features/Description
Heartpoint of island is a big town on East. It will feature an army base and a large airport for all kinds of operations. Town is surrounded by jungle on W and South. Road then leads throught it to SW. Its the only paved road that connects the whole island. Amazon-like river splits the somewhat urban part on North and totally rural on South.

Rivers banks won't be steep (as in many of my older maps) and mangrove vegetation will cover the most banks. Only few places will be suitable for ship landing.

Jungles will have foot-path trails and couple of farms will be situated under thick canopy trees. Not all of the jungle will be thick, so pilots will be able to touch down on many clearings and drop off/pickup troops.

There will be no bridges (due to AI bugs) only couple of shallow passings.

Tourists enjoy the stay in main town as couple of nice beaches can be found. But the major touristic point are the towns on NW. There are even couple of lakes. Many hiking trips are available, but only few guides are eager to lead tourist south of the big river.

Sides

Government army controls the main town and is patrolling the Northern part where many ambushes by rebel happen. Southern part is a hiding place for many escaped convicts, drug dealers and rebel faction that is fighting for the control of the island. International peace-keeping team is based in armybase in main town and performs regular anti-rebel raids and patrol operations. It is also well known fact that US and UK and some other European armies train their specops in the highly-humid and mosquito-infested forests of Lingor.
When rebel positions are raided in the jungle they often retreat to the unreachable places in mountains-area on SW part of Lingor. Units are already done.

Help needed
I would need couple of addons for the project:
- new wooden boats with engines
- dangerous animals addon (CSJ Snakes if a fine example, hopefully he'll agree to include it in Lingor)
- new house or two for the bigger towns

Hopefully you will start to love Lingor when you get relieved of Arrowhead desert tour of duty

Sgt.Elias has send us the 4. update of his eliassound2 mod, which added some new weapon sounds and bug fixes.

hi all, here is the 4. update of eliassound2.
changelog:
- fix BIS bug, in vanilla ArmA2 aircraft's Engine low outside and Engine low inside sound dont work.
add complete new "all" sounds for F35B, A10, AV8, Su25 and SU34.
- fix eliassound2_weaponsmisc
delete wrong car horn (not work in Arma2.)
- fix new weaponsounds fore AK107 and AK74.
- add new weaponsounds for:
AK74 + GP25, SVD, M203, Handgrenade (if you can here it? run, run, run......), AK47 and XM8.
