shezan74 has released another new tool for Visitor3 on the BI-Forums. SaveMyProject v1.0 (also known as Save My Ax) keeps your sources under backup, by recreating the real project structure of your work.
Keep your sources under backup, by recreating the real project structure of your work. The application will explore your project structure every X minutes (configurable) and save all MODIFIED files into your backup folder, keeping original file path (under backup folder).
- Works on a customizable set of extensions, starting by the project root folder
- Supports Oxygen and Visitor3 projects (concurrently), but can be used to keep safe your missions too, by configuring the right root folder and extensions (Oxygen or Visitor3 window can be used at your choice).
- Files are organized in folders by date / time. No renaming will be done on the files.
- Only updated files will be copied. By making a backup folder copy over your project folder you can rollback the situation.
- First save of the day will be FULL (every file on the configured extensions list will be saved). Subsequent backups will be only relative to changed files.
- MANUAL save will be FULL in any case.
- This application DOESN'T replace your daily FULL backup. DO IT on different devices, usb keys and keep them away from lightning, ants, hurricanes, earthquakes and your childrens!
- Audible reminders (configurable) that inform you 1 minute before, 15 seconds before and just after backup operation.
- Right click menu on systray bar for fast start/stop/manual backups.

Zipper5 has released version 1.01 of his Operation Cobalt campaign on the BI-Forums.
Well guys, I haven't gotten any other offers for voice acting since I posted about it, and with OA just around the corner, I figured I'd just release v1.01 without the voices so you guys can at least have the missions a bit more bug-free.

Imutep, my hard working Armed Assault.info mate, has released an [AMS] Roter Stern Campaign Chapter 1 by Stoned Boy and Imutep on the BI Forums.
One year ago Stoned Boy and me was planing to make a campaign for ArmA2. And today we're proud to present you the first chapter of Roter Stern.
At the moment the campaign is only in German language, so we hope here are any interested people who wanna play this campaign.
The first part of the campaign deals with that what could be passed, namely to the war ChDKZ against CDF and her government before the invasion of the USMC on Chernarus.
As an officer of the ChDKZ you must be able in 4 missions to lead the ChDKZ to the victory.
However, to the contents of the remaining episodes we would like to abstain at this point, because the Outro gives a look on it.
If is anybody interested to help us with translation of the missions, so feel free to pm me. Hope you enjoy the campaign, and sorry for my bad English!
Be advised that the [AMS] Roter Stern Campaign Chapter 1 is in German only ! But of course you can help translating it. Send a PM to Imutep.

Mr Burns from armed-assault.de has released an updated version of his mrb Isaf G36a addon on the BI-Forums.
This addon was created out of boredom and may serve as a complementary to BWMod 1.6 ISAF units.
Server key and bisign included.

Our Old Bear has released an updated version of his [ADO] Brik map on our forums, which is based upon the Brikby training grounds in Danemark.
V 0.4 beta changelog :
- Deleted wandering pond water object misplaced in the NW of the map,
- Modified buildings placements in the Grer area in the SW of the map.
This map of a 5km x 5km area features the training CQB village and a small part of the vehicles training grounds in the South.
The map is based upon GoogleEarth pics as well as pictures send by a Danish correspondent ... many thanks to DeadEcho Team.
The topography is based upon a GPS map found on a Danish Off-Road site and hand drawn ^^.
Of course, this Brik is NOT Brikby, what I miss the most are the pretty, pinky, bricky houses they seem to like the most in this far away wet country.
I have use the vanilla Bohemian stern and more or less dilapidated buildings, all of them enter-able of course!

NSX from the Red Hammer Studios has released the RHS BMD-2 v.1.5 addon on the BI-Forums. It needs the RHS Decals v1.1 which added CDF and Handpainted numbers to the vehicle.
Today we're proud to release the long-awaited, fixed and updated version of our BMD-2. We also updated the decals pack, which is neccessary to be installed in order to run the addon. It took a while to complete everything due to the RL issues, but still we're moving forward and hope, that all the little new features (like the random stowage) introduced in this version will compensate the protracted wait and warm you up before other brand new releases. In other words - enjoy!

Royal-Killer has released version 1.0 of the fArmA 2 Minigames on the BI-Forums. This version contains 4 mini-games and a bonus mission. All minigames are simple and are meant to be a “Singleplayer random fun” minigames.
As said on the April fools joke:
“4 WORLD EXCLUSIVE TARGET SCREENSHOTS ATTACHED. NOTE THAT THESE SCREENSHOTS ARE HEAVILY EDITED, RETOUCHED AND THE FINISHED GAME WILL LOOK MUCH MUCH WORSE ON YOUR COMPUTER”
And this is the result. This minigames doesn’t require any modification, neither addons or another stuff.

Marseille77 has released new versions of his NVA Pack v1.4 and the German Civil Pack v1.3 on the BI-Forums.
NVA Pack 1.4
Today I release the new version who only need the full P85 to play. It is an additional pack for fans of the East German Army.
This Pack contain East German vehicles of the National Peoples Army of the GDR in olive and 3-color camo tone (who was introduced in 1988). Then it contain two officers (one Army and one Navy Officer).

CimaleX has informed us about new developments from the Quesh-Kibrul Iranian crisis.
Breaking news from the Strait of Hormuz :
Again the tension rises in the already troubled archipelago of Quesh-Kibrul, the islands that are in the cross-hair of aggressive Iranian military exercises during recent days; a few hours ago, while Arabian league leaders where at a meeting in Dubai, an Iranian navy Mi-8 crashed over the north east side of the main island, killing all four on board.
According to the Iranian navy spokesman the helicopter got lost during a night flight and crashed over a hill after mechanical failure, but the QKDF (Quesh Kibrul Defence Forces) chief of staff have declared that the chopper have been shot down during daylight by an Avenger AAA unit after it had repeatedly violated the Emirate airspace, and was performing aggressive manoeuvres over QKDF sensible installations.

In Dubai the Arabian league leaders have made an attempt to solve peacefully the tense situation around the Quesh-Kibrul archipelago, but the president of Iran said at press conference that will be no compromise with the US and their allies, and the Quesh-Kibrul Emirate might send out all foreign troops that are mining peace and stability in the region of the Middle East.
Meanwhile the naval blockade of the islands continues despite Iranian claims that the measure is temporarily, and only for exercise and safety purposes; today a couple of Japanese oil tankers trying to get out the Strait of Hormuz have been intercepted by Iranian corvettes inside international waters and forced to get back.

The US secretary of state appointed that Iranian claims and aggressive behaviour against the tiny Emirate have only the aim of "showing the force" to other Persian Gulf neighbours and try to mitigate the recently applied UN sanctions against the Iranian republic for its efforts in developing nuclear weapons.
US-Centcom high ranks declared that even outnumbered, US and Coalition forces in the islands could easily manage an Iranian attempt of invasion, relying on superior intelligence and technology, but one wonders how, with only a handful of MQ-9 Reapers and no more than 6 - 8 UH-60 and AH-6 choppers, and a single reinforced infantry battalion on strength.

CheyenneAh56 has informed us he has released 2 SP Missions featuring the French Hexagon units, weapons and vehicles.
The first one : French SecOp
Same scenario as on Chernarus SecOp, but with a French blend, many enhancements added.
With the aim of maintaining an already unstable peace, the French troops were deployed on the Chernarussian territory to support the US Marines missions.
Take part in the conflict, by leading a French recon team, supported by of numerous units.
The second one : Civilian Assistance
A new mission type where you are at a French SA-330 Puma controls, in an humanitarian mission on Chernarus territory.
Edit June 20 :Civilian AssistanceUpdated version released. Now you can ask for a Tiger chopper support if needed.
