Hürtgenwald: My main Project atm. Western front in Germany in November 1944, dark forests in the valleys... plateaus with little cover and some small villages. The winter came early so the upper parts are covered with snow. Also nice with modern units as long as there are no ww2 units available.

Und wieder findet eine weitere neue Insel den Weg zu ArmA2. So veröffentlichte mondkalb heute in den BI-Foren seine Celle Island [1.0], welche das Gebiet rund um die Stadt Celle in Niedersachsen darstellt und in etwa 250km reallife Terrain umfasst, das auf 100km Ingame komprimiert wurde. Die Insel bietet zwei Flughäfen mit Beschilderung, sowie große Hanger. 35 Städte, sowie landschaften und hügeliges Gebiet runden die Insel ab. Ein kleines bisschen Lüneburger Heide in ArmA2.

Based on the area around the town of Celle, Lower saxony, this "island" covers 250sqkm of real terrain compressed into 100sqkm ingame, thus resulting in a rough 1:5 scale.
This piece of map features two nearly ICAO approveable Airports with proper signage and new Airport-buildings, such as huge hangers. Besides that there is a terrain with rolling hills, open spaces and somewhat around 35 towns. All set in a Luneburg Heath style. Steelbeasts-fans are going to love this one.
Monsada hat in den BI-Foren sein Urban Patrol Script Mon [4.2.2] nun in der neuen Version veröffentlicht. Eine Script, welches auf Kronzkys UPS Script basiert. Dieses Script vereinfacht das Editing nochmals und sogar die KI arbeitet und kommuniziert mit anderen Patroullien via Funk. Die AI flankiert Gegner, nutzt leere Fahrzeuge und "durchsucht" auch Gebäude und Towers.

The pack now also includes Special Boat Service (SBS) units in generic civilian clothing, as well as Special Forces Support Group (SFSG) units in Multicam. ... Just a few points to make about the v1.02 release of the units. Firstly, the 'SJB_SAS_ACEcfg.pbo' and 'SJB_SAS_ACEcfg.pbo.SJB.bisign' should only be installed if you use the ACE Mod. If you do not use the ACE Mod, do NOT install these two files as they will cause issues for you. Also, the ACE units require ACEX for the additional weapons they now use.

Johny, Executive Producer des Games, stellte in den BI-Foren erste Offizielle Bilder des neuen dynamischen Wetter Systems vor. Mit dem System wird in Carrier Command verschiedenes Wetter und Tageszeit simuliert, sowie realistische Windeffekte (z.B. an Bäumen). Ebenso soll die Tageszeit den Zyklus des Taurus Mondes reflektieren.
We have succeeded recently in updating the dynamic weather system. Which means there’ll be different weather and day time in the game which is already looking really impressive! Our weather system dynamically simulates this feature across the whole archipelago. There’s also a wind effect (for example on the trees). Daytime reflects the cycle of the Taurus moon as you can see it in the attached screens, we hope you all like the progress the game is making visually and are as excited as we are with the progress it’s making!

Schöne Palmen Insel mit sandigen Stränden und afrikanischer Vegetation. Mehrere Ortschaften, sowie Flughäfen und ein Fluss runden dir gut 10kmx10km grosse Insel ab.

Beton hat seiner Hürtgenwald Insel einen weiteren Schliff verpasst und sie in der neuen Version 1.3beta veröffentlicht. Eine optisch schöne Insel welche die Gegend um Hürtgenwald in Deutschland darstellen soll. Die Insel eignet sich auch sehr gut für WW2 Szenarien. Desweiteren hat er wie schon bekannt auch seine Beton Addons aktualisiert und weitere WW2 Objekte zur Verfügung gestellt.
