Yeb released a small addon that changes the units and weapons displaynames in Armed Assault. To view the changes read more simply click here.
This little add-on replaces almost all single weapon and vehicle names of the games from weapons to vehicles through missiles.
It will only replace display names and does not replace weapon classnames, hence it won’t affect missions design and addweapon/removeweapon commands.
