I'm currently working on a small, easy to use script that "improves" the effect of explosions on air vehicles. You can watch a demo video and download version 1.03 beta at the bottom of this post.
The current version supports all vehicles, although so far only helicopters and planes have FX. Other vehicle profiles will be added in later versions.
Today Alex Sworn spoiled us with some new screenshots of his La Samula island. As you can see the island will feature a rail system. Alex is looking for someone to model a train/waggon, if you are interested you can contact him on the ArmA-Guide website.
Sparky from the Hellenic Warfare Mod has updated his website with new screenshots and information about their Mercedes Benz 240GD.
Our 2nd addon pack is almost ready. We're closing the pack with the Mercedes Benz 240GD, patrol version with an mg3 mounted. This addon has a lot of animated parts (driver door, codriver door, cargo door, windshield, and back wheel). Also we have create 2 new proxy types (driver,gunner) along with the appropriate death proxies.
VictorFarbau has updated his VFAI - AI Extension to version 2.2 and released it on the BI Forums. This addon makes units smarter and more independent, you can view a sample video of v1.4 below.
Next version (2.2) uploaded. Split Equipment and Smoke into 2 separate addons finally. Made it compatible to XEH from Solus. Improved behaviour. Corrected bugs. Probably introduced new ones :) Make sure to read the included readme file. It might really answer a lot of questions you sometimes have when wondering about behaviour. It also explains methods how to turn the feature on/off when needed. Bug reports welcome as usual in this thread. I cannot test all possible situations and 3rd party weapon addons upfront of course. So the more precise you are in reporting bugs the quicker I can look into it.

da12thMonkey has informed the community that the popular Project UK Forces mod is still alive and kicking on the ArmA scene.
We've been typically quiet as late, and with a small server incident this has begun to breed rumours of our demise, our abduction by aliens, or our well documented world cruise with Jeff. Fortunately, especially in the case of the latter, these are unfounded. We are still, as always, plodding along with our work in our own time.
It is certainly early days, as we have planned a large and quite ambitious pack, but we feel these will introduce a varied and useful selection of British vehicles into ArmA. Currently planned are:

Combines Extended Init, Fired, and other event handlers into a single addon. Thanks to Killswitch for combining them and adding the ability to use extended event handlers for all events! Includes working signature and key.

Frostman aka Dingmatt, a member of the DSF's Unofficial StarGate Simulator released their first addon on our forums. The release includes a working Stargate, a DHD and various steps.
Hi everyone, welcome to the first ARMA release of the DSF gates.
Now before we begin i will remind you, this release is ment to help with the creation of missions rather than a full addon so treat it as such.
This release only has the following objects available: - The StarGate - DHD - Various Steps
All other objects have been removed for recoding, the objects included don't represent finished work as may are still alphas.

bk1276 converted Col. Faulkner's OFP Nato targets and released them in the BI Forum. The latest update includes a new target, that is used for training British snipers (and has been since WW1).
bk1276 has updated his generic landing craft addon on the BI Forums.
This is just something i am working on to learn O2 it is the first model I ve tryed to make except the box. It is far from perfect /and or / finished. In reality its a floating bathtub with a gun (from rhib) Textures are basic colours and from the web It is something that i wanted in arma and a stop gap while I am waiting for CBF shipbuildings models release. Several people asked for me to release this after i posted some pics in the help forum. This is PRE_ALPHA it is not great or good but i hope to improve it as i go on.
