Binkowski has released his US Infantry - 2008 v1.0 addon on the BI Forums.
So, I guess I should get these guys off mah chest. I've got them half way decently presentable to you so. Yeah.
Basically, these dudes make those other guys I made look like crap. Srsly. I couldn't think of any other name except "Infantry 2008" so don't be all like "oh lulwut he makes units foar every year harharhehe". Funny. But seriously, back to businezz. They've got modern gear for the most part, MICH 2000's, IBA's, MBITR's, some new MOLLE stuff.
There's no combat patch, too many people complain about not having the one they want. So it's removed. I might add the clan thing later, when I'm you know. Not busy. And I've finally sorted the flags, for those of you who follow my stuff you know I tend to put the full color flags on, well this one has the IR flag ya bastards!
Yoma informed the community on the BI Forums that he released a new version v1.0.47 of his Addon Sync 2009 tool.
-TS3 support (don't forget to set TS version on server details, it will default to TS2) -Minor bugfixes -You can now query for server signature files (handy to find a server that has YOUR version of ACE for example, or to find a server where you can run your prefered soundmod)
Alleycat released a new coop mission called "Lair of the camel spider" on the BI Forums. Mission works with and without ACE.
Detailed description:
The plan was to create a realistic and challenging urban combat scenario, while at the same time keeping the enemy amount to minimum. (You will never fight against more than 30 enemies). Also time was spent to provide replayability by changing the probability of certain units. the entire enemy force power might change up to 70% each game. And the enemy placement itself is something you might not have ever experienced in an ARMA2 mission.
Other info:
- Runs well on weaker pcs, because I avoided placing the action in larger towns. - Has a working briefing and mission triggers. - Quality placement of enemies. Every single unit is carefully placed by hand which provides challenging combat without resorting to overwhelming amounts. - Very tight choreographed and yet unpredictable ambushes - High replayability. 40% of the enemy force has various levels of existence probabilities. - Ideal for coop players who enjoy combat in dense urban areas
Potatomasher released version v1.1 of his single player mission Sting Of The Scorpion.
Mission overview:
You are once again leading USMC Spec Ops unit in a mission to weaken enemy forces. Molatian army warlord Dubaku must be stopped and his armys propaganda machinery needs to be destroyed.
Known issues:
- The extraction chopper sometimes do very strange things so remember to save often. - The M136 is already used. (Shit happens in war) Use alternative methods if needed.
Edit : Sting Of The Scorpion updated to 1.2 Changelog v.1.2 - Gear selection now at startup screen - Tweaked extraction chopper waypoints a little more
We've reached a point of fatigue that prevents us from continuing further. We know that your frustration will be high, but the drawbacks inherent in the modding ARMA2 largely explained on this forum, which we have no control, compel us to conclude the adventure.
In addition, recent attacks on the work done by us have also reasoned that withdrawal, with weapons and baggage. In clear: the mod addons fafw not come out in any software whatsoever (arma, ARMA2, its future extensions, VBS2 in its different versions and, more generally, any software capable to develop this work).
This post has no right answer: it is purely informative, precisely because we are tired of the constant controversy surrounding this mod.
Caxton Gibbet released a new update version v3.0 of his Copy My Stance addon on the BI Forums. This addon will make a players AI team copy the players stance. It can be turned on and off via the action menu.
V.3.0

Dr_Eyeball released a new hotfix version v4.0 of his AH-64D MFD/IHADSS HMD/TADS addon
Change log:
- Fixed: Hot fix for the CPG Optics script critical bug (from version 3). - Fixed: IncomingMissile handler was never getting initialized. (Surprised no-one discovered that.) - Added: Replaced the AH-1Z Cobra CPG Crosshairs HUD image, with mini crosshairs. This has been placed in a separate addon called ICE_AH64D_CPG_sights.pbo so that you can easily remove it in future, if there's ever a need
Icewindo posted two pictures and a Youtube video of his latest work in progress on the BI Forums.
I'm primarily modding for the Stargate Mod atm, but I couldn't keep this one side project die. I had lost my stuff some time before but it had no normal maps anyway.
Today I then finally started recreating the stuff and testing in ArmA2. The idea of creating a mod like this was shown by the original Operation Flashpoint Mod "Crusade", sadly it never got farer than releasing a crossbow.
Chicago has submitted a new singleplayer mission v1.1 to our database called Operation Scout.
I would like announced, that I have released SP mission Operation Scout.

Seemingly with it can looks like snap, but not every time walks according to the plan...
Version: 1.1 Addons: none (only official)

Jackal326 has informed us about the release of an updated -v1.02- version of the SJB SAS Pack.
SJB proudly presents v1.02 of the SAS Addon for ArmA2. The pack now also contains SBS and SFSG units. The SJB SAS Pack v1.02 contains Special Air Service (SAS) operators in both Patrol Kit and Assault Kit with the requisite camouflages for use in both temperate woodland and arid region environments. The pack now also includes Special Boat Service (SBS) units in generic civilian clothing, as well as Special Forces Support Group (SFSG) units in Multicam. These units are high fidelity representations of modern SAS operators circa 2006-present, using equipment sourced from photographs and information proprietary to the SJB mod team. Currently the units are equipped with BIS weaponry. Later versions of the pack will make use of the upcoming SJB Weapons Packs which will include weapons such as the L119A1 (Diemaco SFW) intended for use with the SJB SAS Pack.
Change Log: > PUBLIC RELEASE V1.02 (11/01/10): - Added 'ACE' Units, that having hidden backpacks (as with ArmA1 version of the pack), and use ACE weapons and items. All within a seperate config. Don't have ACE? Don't install the two ACE files. - Tweaked a few models, adding a bit more variety to the units wearing gloves etc. - Fixed 'Russian speaking units' issue. - Resolved the slight proxy mis-alignment on the custom NVGs leading to glasses etc to clip slightly into the side of almost every unit's head (especially noticable with ACE balaclavas). - Fixed the issues involving the respawn loadouts of a few units (i.e. not having the ability to access the map, compass or radio/GPS etc).
Just a few points to make about the v1.02 release of the units. Firstly, the 'SJB_SAS_ACEcfg.pbo' and 'SJB_SAS_ACEcfg.pbo.SJB.bisign' should only be installed if you use the ACE Mod. If you do not use the ACE Mod, do NOT install these two files as they will cause issues for you.
