Und wieder steht uns ein neuer Patch für ArmA2 zur Verfügung. Patch 1.04 beinhaltet zum grösseten Teil MP-fixes, aber auch diverse andere Verbesserungen in den Missionen, der Engine und den Modulen.

* Mouse controls: Improved mouse handling and responsivness * Stability: Fixed CTD caused by Voice Over Net when many players were speaking simultaneously and other stability problems * Sound: Fixed speed of sound simulation and other improvements * Multiplayer: fixed scoring, multiple mission parameters added and various other MP-related improvements

DMarwick veröffentlichte das JTD_FireAndSmoke beta 0.1 Addon in den offiziellen Foren. Dieses Addon realisiert in ArmA2 grössere und bessere Rauch Effekte. Brennende Wracks sind so meilenweit zu sehen und brennen auch länger. JTD_FireAndSmoke is an effects addon that adds bigger, better and more useful smoke than the default ingame smoke. The ingame smoke is unaffected, this addon "layers" effects over the top. It's MP compliant, looks great, and is AI viewblock by default. Destroyed vehicles will send up huge plumes of smoke visible from miles away and last a long time, very useful for a sense of battlefield presence and history. Additional to this there is a propagating fire functionality that will set forests, buildings and vehicles on fire dependant on proximity, wind, and rain.

These paints are meant as a fictional form of airliners for useage in Chernarus Life, Aus Life etc. Pack Contains Airline paints such as Air New Zealand, Qantas and Lufthansa. Has Super Shaders applied and damage textures as well.
Die Jungs der FFAA Mod melden sich mit 4 neuen Bildern des in Arbeit befindlichen PRAÑA IIIC zurück. Jenes Addon wird im nächsten Pack enthalten sein.
Viele haben es gehofft und i0n0s hat es wieder geschafft. Der beliebte Real Time Editor ist nun in der Version 1.5 erhältlich. Diese Version unterstützt ArmA II. So werden auch die neuen Faktionen unterstützt. Auch lassen sich gebastelte Missionen exportieren/speichern. Ebenso könnt ihr mit mehreren Leuten gleichzeitig an einer Mission arbeiten.

Der RTE ist ein 3D-Editor. Man kann: * Missionen bauen und speichern * Objekte in 3D platzieren * zusammen mit anderen Leute zur selben Zeit an der Mission basteln * ihn für einen \"Game Master Mode\" benutzen: Die Mission wird live von einem Spieler an den Fortschritt, die Spielstärke der anderen Spieler angepasst.

Clayman veröffentlichte nach seinem "Car Radio" Addon und der SP-Mission "The Hunt" nun sein nächstes Projekt: Einen animierten Staudamm, der die tristen Staumauern in ArmA II ablöst und ihnen Leben verleiht. Dieses Addon fügt dem Topolka Dam auf Chernarus Wasser- und Soundeffekte, sowie einen kleinen Fluss mit Stromschnellen hinzu.
Es hat mich schon immer gestört, dass die ansich sehr schönen Staudämme in ArmAII einen eher unfertigen, wenn nicht gar nutzlosen Eindruck gemacht haben. Abgesehen davon, dass die Dämme nicht zerstörbar sind, ist dort halt 'ne Mauer mit 'nem See davor. Und auf der anderen Seite? Nix! Kein See, kein Fluss... gar nichts. Um diesem tristen Dasein ein Ende zu bereiten, hab ich mich grad mal hin gesetzt, und angefangen etwas zu basteln. Ebenfalls als Script Version verfügbar.
