I am currently working on a Leopard 2a5 which i made for OFP a while ago. The model misses some parts and its still a long way to go but it is already rolling so i thought i show a small video of it.

  Ado's Packs updated Addon release    


GMC, from the ADO team has released an update of his ADO Compagnie and ADO Weapon pack in v1.3, in our forums.

Official exit of version 1.3 of let us addons COS ADO© produced by GMC.
Many solved problems one.
Addition of the FAMAS AimPoint

3D: - Various transparent Textures
- One cannot see the target apart from the eyepiece
- The turban of the Arab soldier is less better made that At. The top is too high on the face.
- The gun of the HK21 is a little too short (compared to true the model)
- M203 on Famas F1 with textures too metallized.
- To change the icon of ammunition 5.56.
- Spas 12 pas de time of recharging.
- Face perso does not go.
Additional Weapon: Famas F1 Aimpoint (Model of (A)).
Scripting: - Retreat of the weapon

  ArmA Effects update in v1.1 Addon release    
Maddmatt has released a new version 1.1 of his ArmA Effects in the BIS Forums.

New in 1.1:
- Sparks toned down again
- Modified impact effects - smoke reduced and changed blood impact again
- Missile/rocket smoke trail modified, shorter with fewer, larger particles - less performance impact now
- Some minor tweaks

Probably the last update. Hopefully there are no more real issues :)

  Conflict Zone Mindanao - WIP Screenshots Screenshots    
itim_tuko, member of the Conflict Zone Mindanao Mod, has show several screenshots in the BIS Forums.

After the recent battles on the island Mindanao I changed my mind and instead of making a fictional enemy force Im making some MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front) instead. I changed my mind because I just learned that one of our relatives is missing in central Mindano after the MILF attacked several towns.

"MILF" are Moro Islamic Liberation Front (Muslim Rebels/Terrorists)
"NPA" are New Peoples Army (Communists)
"SB" are Sword Bearers (fictional Muslim Terrorists)

For the final release some main characters for the campaigns will be made for the Marines and Army too. But I did not have any ideas yet how to make them different from the other soldiers. Suggestions are welcome.

  Mapfact releases 3DE-Project Addon release    


MCPXXL, member of the 3DE-Project team, has released this Project in the BIS Forums.

MAP_3DE
The heart of it, of course, is the 3D editor by Silola

MAP_EU
The editorupgrade by Lester that also makes the Queens Gambit Objects available and adds some completely new objects. It is designed especially for the 3DE.
Required:

- MAP_Services V1.10

MAP_3DEMAP
A completely new island that has been designed with the 3DE by Sgt. Ace and MCPXXL. The whole 3DE project team did help with designing nice and playable locations. It's worth stating that none of the team has any experience with visitor nor island editing with the exception of Sgt.Ace who just made an empty island with textures for that purpose. All objects were placed with the 3DE, of course.

- ArmA V1.14
- Queens Gambit
- MAP_EU Editorupdate
- MAP_Services




DAC-Sectorfight MP-Mission
At first just planned as a demo this island did develop pretty well. So we ported an almost forgotten DAC mission by Silola to the new island to have some fun after all the work on our project.
This DAC sectorfight mission is included in the download package as well. As one can tell by the server frames the island's performance is very fine and the mission runs smoothly. Saying all this we are very proud of the outcome of this project. It is best played with mapfact addons + ECS.

  GDTModHDR released Addon release    
HeinBloed just released another addon in the BIS Forums. The GDTModHDR allows you to disable/enable HDR when you want.

With this Addon you can disable ArmA's HDR.
This Addon is client side only.

Keys:

HDR ON:
[INSERT] HDR ON

HDR OFF:
[POS1] Preset value day
[END] Preset value night
[DELETE] Preset value night-vision goggles
[PAGEDOWN] Reduce brightness

  M8/XM8 Pack by grazyboy - WIP Screenshots    
grazyboy has show 4 screenshots of his M8/XM8 Pack, is still working on it.

I decided to remake my pack from OFP to ArmA, but it isn't the same as it was in OFP. I added some details to it and working on more variants. It is still WIP but the model is pretty much finished only the textures need much work and I am not good at that :( .
But I will do my best. Or if anyone will be so kind and help me with them i will be really happy :D

Eble aka Southy converted Footmuch's F35 Lightning II - JSF to Armed Assault and is currently improving the addon.

The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is a single-seat, single-engine, stealth-capable military strike fighter, a multi-role aircraft that can perform close air support, tactical bombing, and air superiority fighter missions.’
Plane will come with Mutliple weapon payloads
four colour schemes (USAF dark grey, grey, light grey and RAF grey) by eddyD.

  T-800 in the works Screenshots    
Marccom has started to convert the T-800 to Armed Assault (with permission of the authors). He has send us a screenshot showing the progress he has achieved so far.

Hi,
i just wanna inform you that i started my first project.
Inspired by XPETIT Terminator he made 3 years ago for OFP and over the sadness that nobody else is doing such a project yet for ARMA I decide to live out my crazyness and to (try) to learn moddelling ARMA addons.

Searching the www to find infos and ideas about modelling a T800 i found the websites of two amazing guys:
Tobor (aka James Murphy) and Marek.

  T-90 MBT by Badger343rd updated to v9.0 Addon release    
Badger343rd has released a new version for his T-90 MBT Addon in the BIS Forums.


V9.0 :
Well here is the fixed version after V8 screwup.This version has damage texture fixes and I rebuilt the MG. I tidy'd up the tank in general...era is alittle more organized and matches the camo a bit better.I also tried to optimize it abit too in the LOD's.Dunno if it made any difference but we'll see.I think I'm fianally at the end of the line with this project, nothing more I can think to do on it.Hopefully there won't be any flaws in this release.I'll concentrate now on the BTR's.

  Gigan SCUD updated Addon release    
You always wanted to Nuke the hell out of Sahrani? Well with the new version of Gigan's SCUD Launcher this won't be a problem.

What's New
- Reformed 3D model.
New SCUD model by Vilas.
- Added launch operation call to AI.
- Removed radioactivity screen effect.
- Added different explosion method that trees and walls collapse. (same ver1.0 method)
Can use method from fall2.sqs, exp2.sqs.
- Corrected Thing, StaticWeapon, Ship objects not damaged.
- Corrected target map marker display bug.
- Corrected bullet doesn't penetrate through window.
