The talented addon maker Sigma-6 has send us his revised Vehicles Pack which includes several cars mostly from the 60's and 70's. This is not a beta, it's a full release as version 1.0
This replaces every vehicle I've released, except the Isolda ship. Barracudas included. A whole new range of vehicles added. Barracudas have undercarriages, engines, suspension components, improved interiors, side mirrors, hoods can be popped open (have a look under the hood!) Sounds improved for some cars.

- A Mercedes 240GD. This is the original model I made for DDAM mod, except that I modified the mirrors. DDAM have made about a million amazing versions of this vehicle now, but I always wanted to release the original, so here it is. - A 1970 Plymouth 440 'Cuda with the fake dual hood scoops. It's yellow now, because people didn't seem to want to drive it when it was pink ;) Hood can be opened. - A 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. This is the basic variant with the flat hood. Hood can be opened. - A 1971 Plymouth Hemicuda. Hood can be opened. - A 2008 Dodge Challenger Concept. - My family's 1989 Honda Civic Hatchback, the real version of which is sitting in my sister's garage in Ottawa. - Cooter's Tow Truck from the Dukes of Hazzard! This is a kind of cartoonified tow truck, done up as a 1977 Ford F-250. - A 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda. This is the street version of what AAR went to the track with. Hood can be opened. - A 'brown cow' 1977 Plymouth Fury, for when you need a generic car. - A 1970 Plymouth Hemicuda. Hood can be opened. - The old Mack R Model. Updated again. - 1968 Dodge Monaco. - A vintage farm truck. - A version of the farm truck with a troop bed in the back--uses BIS public release components. - My old 1965 GMC Fleetside from OFP. - A 1977 Ford F-250 Pickup. - A 1969 Road Runner in yellow. Hood can be opened. - A 1969 Road Runner in green. Hood can be opened. - Sherrif Rosco P. Coltrane's Squad car from the Dukes of Hazzard! A 1977 Plymouth Fury. - A 1977 Plymouth Fury police cruiser in Sahrani livery. - An old Chevy School Bus. - A 1969 Charger R/T in yellow, with a black interior and rallye wheels with silver hubcaps. - The General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard! The General comes here complete with all his details from the show: roll bar, pushbar, CB, Aerial, AR 'Vector' wheels, tan interior, 'Dixie' horn, and the complete custom paintjob, including the crossed flags on the decklid. This and the Charger R/T have both hoods that can be opened and light covers that are able to be opened at night.
This addon is packed with 7-zip, a packer tool similar to Winrar. You can get it from HERE, but the files can also be extracted with Winrar.
Linker Split has send us 3 excellent screenshots showing his Automatic Camouflage System in action. Ok, finally I managed to create the autocamouflage option: when you set it, then this character will change AUTOMATICALLY the camouflage according to the object he is near to.

HeinBloed has updated his GDTModHelicopter on the BI Forums. ArmA 1.14 is needed, Queen's Gambit optional, if you haven't it, do not install GDTModHelicopterQG.pbo file in your addons directory.
This Addon changes the helicopters: - Different flight behavior (increased moment of inertia). - Center of mass centered (left to right). You can test this very easy: Place a flying helicopter in the editor. Press the "freelock" Button. Press the "nose up" button. Without this Addon each helicopter will turn 180° after a few seconds. - Motor less vulnerably. - Tail rotor more vulnerably. - UH60 M134, AH6 M134, KA50 2A42: Weapon Mode "High" removed. Two diffrent reloadTimes on the same weaponmode does not work in ArmA. - AH6 M134: Firetime increased to 1 Minute (4000 Rnd / 2000 Rnd/min / 2 guns) - MI-17 57mm rocket: Magazine increased to 192 rounds. - KA50 2A42: HE and AP magazine increased to 250 rounds.

Karaya1 released his XtraMod for ArmA v1.14 over at the BI forums.
This mod includes a multitude of small and bigger changes as well as some new units based on the stock arsenal. It is oriented towards realism in a way that it corrects some weapons and ammunitions to more realistic values without breaking gameplay.
Changes : - More refined tracking systems for the SAM Vehicles, now they really engage at out to 4.2-4.8km range! - I've also fiddled around with the Heavy Grenadier and his 6G30 grenade launcher. Now you can actually use the iron sight to aim instead of shooting "out of the hip"! - Helicopter armored glass is a tad more resistant to bullets, there should be less long range pilot killing snipe shots - Several small bits here and there which are rather subtle to notice... - Changed the terms of use slightly
Yeb has released an update of his Realistic Designation addon on the BI Forums. This little add-on replaces almost all single weapon and vehicle names of the games from weapons to vehicles through missiles.It will only replace display names and does not replace weapon classnames, hence it won’t affect missions design and addweapon/removeweapon commands.

Things I need some help with: - MP tests - I own only one computer capable of running ArmA on it and only one copy of ArmA. - Kamov's rotor blade model. I cut it out from BIS Ka-50 p3d without any deeper work, resulting in arma.rpt errors. - Reports and suggestions.

Somerville the creator of Sahraniville has informed us about the latest developments of this well known multiplayer mission. For further information please head over to the Sahraniville website.
Sahraniville is close to its public beta testing stage. The map has been totally redone with new scripts (instead of the old ones imported from OFP). A lot of the bugs have been eliminated and we are aware of just 1-2 that need fixing. We will keep everyone imformed for when Sahraniville is released for public beta testing.
We appreciated the support from others in our last public beta test (all them months ago, we know, sorry!) and look forward to the same again.
Features include:
* Uses SPON Money, meaning shops now have pretty dialogs instead of options at the flags. * A variety of ways to earn money. * Objects for drugs, passports, driving licences - this means you have to physically carry the drugs. You therefore have a limit to the amount you can carry, and if someone kills you, they can take your drugs. * Police can check your driver’s licence. * Variety of cars can be purchased. * Banks also have dialogs for withdrawing/depositing money. * Pay-as-you-earn (PAYE) Tax system (N.B: This is currently only a system that removes the money from you; as of yet, it doesn’t go anywhere) * Random weather.

Hi again, folks. This time I'd like to share with you a photo from a recent shooting competition in Haukisaari, near Karttula. I took part only to 25m/10 shot pistol competition but scored so bad I dare not to mention it here :)
Anyway after the official part was over we did some plinking with various firearms. The foreign gentleman at the front immediately wanted to try out my M31 'Suomi' submachinegun and Pertti, my old army buddy tested the M39 rifle from my modest historical firearms collection.
The elderly man liked how the M31 operated and sprayed two full drums at the target, despite forgetting his radio gear on which we used earlier on our practical-shooting expiriment. I didn't find out what he does for a living but I bet it involves handling various guns.
This is a basic conversion of an old model that was never released in OFP mainly because Dave8 of Operation Code Blue ran out of time to work on it due to real life obligations. The model was given to a bunch of people to do something with it, but I got tired of waiting years (literally) for someone to finish it up so I decided to try my hand at making it work in ArmA. Fortunately, I think overall I've been successful. This is just a beta but it should be relatively bug free aside for some minor issues and the lack of a detailed cargo interior.
