  RKSL Merlin HC3 v0.723b released Addon release    
RKSL-Rock from RKSL Studios released a new beta version v0.723b of his Merlin HC3 helicopter.

UPDATES:

- 30+ individual fixes from textures to animations
- Fixed Script Error
- Fixed/Improved Shadow Lods
- 6 New Res Lods
- Changed getin/getout heights

  Royal Netherlands Army/Marines v5.1 Addon release    
Jezaa informed us that Aeneas2020 has released a new fixed version v5.1 of his Royal Netherlands Army/Marines and a weapon hotfix.

##UPDATE##
Found the problem...seems to be a corrupt dload..reuploading the entire file and a hot fix.

Installation
============
Simply extract the .pbo you want into your Arma\Addons or other mod folder.

MAKE SURE TO DELETE YOU OLD DUTCH UNITS BEFORE USING THESE!!!

VERSION 5.1

- Fixed weapons with black optics
- Added server key

VERSION 5.0

- Tweaked existing infantry models with new helmet webbing and uniforms
- New textures to go with above, normals, smdi etc
- Added Marines, KCT new troops, Dutch Jungle Troops and guys in Bush Hats
- Added MICH helmets with helmet accessories kindly donated by Dasquade and Ardvarkb
- Added new donated chest rigs
- Added Diemaco weapons thanks to Raven DK and the DDAM mod
- Removed addon dependancy thanks to Robert Hammer!
- Better configs and Dutch names thanks to Dimitri Harkov
- A Million other small things.
- Finally again i couldn't have made any of this without the guys listed in the thanks section above! So again thank you guys!

  Jade Groove 1.0 + MFP Raiders v0.99 Addon release    
IceBreakr informed the community on the BI Forums that he released new updated versions of his Jade Groove v1.0 + MFP Raiders v0.99.

Jade Groove v1.0
- various optimizations, new textures
- smoothed out roads
- new objects placed
- added mountain pass road on NE with new settlement on top
- added new sector South with settlement, compound and couple of farms
- added garbage/salvage camps
- added two "camping" places for base/camp placement

MFP Raiders v0.99
- added CSJ's gyrocopters to island units pack (along with MFP, Raiders & Plymouth Roadrunner car)!
- improved Raider Leader texture skin (leather belt)
- upgraded sounds for Roadrunner car (tnx to ANZACSAS Steve)
- included Gyrocopters (tnx to CSJ)

  M4A1 in three desert versions - WIP Screenshots    
Ryishu informed us that Christian.1987 released three new screenshots of his work in progress M4A1 weapon, and will eventually be released in three desert versions on the BI Forums.

  GK units with RACS Camo & Paratrooper Screenshots    
Lennard released two screenshots of his retextured GK units with RACS camo and Paratrooper on the BI Forums.

Had some requests lately about porting my RACS mechanized brigade troops. So I did a little retex of my GK units with that racs camo and I quite like the result.

But I don't know how long it will take for a release cause I'm actually quite busy with other projects that have more priority. And something that should look like some paratrooper of something..

  Russian Army Base (FOB) Addon release    
Edgardeth informed us on our forums that he has released another addition of his Arma2 templates.

General Info:

Here is another Base of the compact kind. That means that i've made this with the idea of having a useful, but not to big base for mission makers or just anyone to play around with.

The base is simply surrounded by a high perimeter wall with fences and sandbags. With two entry points drive able for the Ai.

I suggest that you fit the interior to your own needs as I just put in some units to make the place look a little lively.

I couldn't really find any indication on if the Russians use Hesco bastions or not. so I made the base without a single one.

Features:

- Barracks area
- Operations HQ
- Vehicle yard
- Depot
- Helipad (FAARP)
- Field Hospital

Additional info:

Not much else to say.. Please give some feedback on the forums or make a comment if you think something should have been done differently or anything at all conserning the base.

Install:

extract the folder in to your Arma2/missions folder. (that should be located in your documents folder on Vista)

(No addons used, no addons needed. made with arma2 patched v 1.05)

  Russian Naval Infantry (Desert) Addon release    
Colonel stagler released his Russian Naval Infantry (Desert) on the BI Forums.

This is my first addon for Arma2.

The pack includes:
Pbo + Bisign + Bikey

All basic infantry reskinned (including desert ghillie snipers) to wear the new KSOR desert digital camouflage, which is similar to desert MARPAT.

Some vehicles for them to use.
Ural + Ural Open
UAZ
BRDM 2
BRDM 2 ATGM
Mi8
Mi8 + Rockets

I do intend to reskin the vehicles in the near future to desert colours. Im just busy at the moment.

Many thanks to ardy and sam for their help on making this addon.

  CSM2 version: 1.04h released! Addon release    
Protegimus informed the community on the BI Forums that he has released version v1.04h of Chammy Sound Mod.

CSM2 version: 1.04h is available via the Yoma Addon Sync repository. As always, backup your existing version before you update!

Changes are as follows:
- Improved: AK107 single fire trailoff & automatic fire now uses burst fire sound
- Improved: AK47 single fire trailoff

- Improved: re-prioritised artillery sounds to utilise the additional sounds added in 1.04g release

  World Tools (v 1.2) by shezan74 Editing    
shezan74 has released released an updated version of his great World Tools (v 1.2). This tool helps you with creating your own map for ArmA 2.

This version is much bigger due the availability of a lot of walls, fences and other objects pre-loaded on it (with images).

What's new:
- Forest placement percentages rescaled to include decimal values, for a more accurate placement of sparse objects. Now it is possible to have a 0.1% probability of placement for an object.
- Some optimizations in forest calculations.
- Added a new summary output page with support for separate (smaller) object files.
- Number of forest generated objects are now shown on per-type basis on result page, to allow user to fine tuning projects.
- Small optimizations on error management.
- Random placed forests are not saved on the project file anymore (much smaller project file size). (my project changed from 70 to 18 mb)
- Greatly increased number of template objects available.
- Help now covers the Visitor3 import function.
