MechaStalin has posted a nice WIP screenshot of an upcoming BTR-70 armored vehicle ported from the videogame "S.T.A.L.K.E.R" in compliance with their EULA. For more information, see his BI Forums topic.
Hi, here's my latest project, a BTR-70. The base model and textures are taken from STALKER which I want to make VERY VERY clear. I in no way take credit for them those belong to GSC.
Luckily, GSC Game World allows models from their games to be used in other games provided they are free of charge and proper credit is given. So this conversion is 100% legal.
I'm also planning on a few variants like 2S14 "Stinger" tank killer with 85mm gun.

s_Hole has updated his nice Fixed Range Nightvision (v 0.4) addon, that adds realistic night vision effects, in order to replace BIS ones, in the BI Forums.
Gameplay notes: - The NV sensivity is set by default to 1.5, which is good for most nights of the year. - You can adjust the sensivity by PageUp and PageDown keys. - You can switch the game's stock automatic nightvision adjustment on and off from your action menu. It is disabled by default.
Cangelog v0.4 : - no longer conflicts with GMJ_SightAdjustment nor SightAdjustment_AutoInit (many thanks to i0n0s) - fixed issue where script ran for every npc, which was dumb - vehicles should work properly now - death, teamswitch and some other issues are addressed, but not foolproof - added keys to change NV sensitivity (page up and page down)

Epilogue
Halfway into Bagango we started taking fire from some SLA troops dressed in Royal uniforms. For a moment, I thought we’d been suckered into some horrible trap. Soon enough, though, we figured it out.
...now I’m looking forward to a little boredom and to being assigned to Fort Living Room for a good, long while.
