Hi all, here are the new version of my SoundMod for ArmA2. 80% of this sounds are brand new to the eliassound1. As always atmo is the most important. That's the reason for the few new weapon sounds.
The special news are: Different sounds for footsteps (mg gunner, sniper, ...) new sound for hearing loss. Rustling of armabelt is hearable in case of jotting and jumping up. When soldier withs mg or shoulder-fired anti-tank missile falls down, the impact of the weapon is audible.
Sounds of landscape consist of many different complementing one another sounds. (Sea consists of three sounds, which are audible at different distances.) Sounds of explosion and shooting of tanks consist of different single sounds which are audible as one sound.
(For each type of weapon are different shooting sound existing, engine and ammo sounds as well as two different supersonics compose to one really realistic overall sound. The shooting sounds - especially those of the SD weapons - consist of multiple different single sounds, which add up to the actual sound.
(Sometimes the reload or casing drop sound is the actual shooting sound.) New RC sound for throttles and aircrafts.
(New realistic track and squeaking sound depending on the underground.) Nearly all news are to be found in the read me file.

CSJ has released an Snakes and Adders addon on the BI-Forums. It's a small addon that adds three types of snakes to your ArmA 2.
All three snakes are venomous to a varying degree. The effects of the venom on the unit become more frequent the longer it is present in the body. If unit is attended by medic or seeks assistance from MASH etc then they will be ok. The green snake based on the Bamboo Viper. 50 mins kill time The banded snake based on the Krait Viper. 20 mins kill time The brown snake based on the Taipan. 10 mins kill time All snakes are free roaming and generally shy of humans but will attack if provoked or accidentally stepped on.

Jeza has informed us about the release of a Helmand Valley map by Kinno on the BI Forums. The map previously announced as an Island Villa afgana map is a 10x10 km map featuring an afghan valley.
