  SJB Submachinegun Pack by Jackal326 Addon release    
Jackal326 (SJB) has informed us of the release of his long awaited SJB Submachinegun pack in the form of a public beta on the BI Forums. This pack is still a BETA, and may contain bugs, which should be posted on the BIS forums in the release thread.

VERSION HISTORY:
- Public BETA Version v1.0 (THIS RELEASE)
- ~65 Sub-Machineguns with more to come.

... the pack comes with a BETA preview of my Mercenary units, designed as "better" more filled out versions of the BIS QG Mercs. As a result, these Merc units will require Queen's Gambit, The Weapons DO NOT REQUIRE QUEEN'S GAMBIT, only the bonus mercs do.

  FFN MOD Beta 0.81 by TonyRanger released Addon release    
TonyRanger has informed us of the release of the long awaited 0.81 version of his FFN Mod. Here is the Mod featuring enhanced AI, 2 demos missions included.

FFN Means Fight For Nogova,it's base on a story about some mercenaries who come form Nogova.
This mod makes many changes to the gameplay of ArmA especially the AI. but I'm not mean do so,because my final goal is the FFN campaign and missions,I think the changes of gameplay is necessary for my future missions.

  SPON RearView v0.2.1 released Addon release    
Spooner released version 0.2.1 of his RearView scripts on the OFPEC.com Forums. The latest version also includes an addon version. For more information and the download please head over to OFPEC.com.

Gives the driver/pilot of most vehicles working rear-view mirrors.

Requires that the SPON Core be installed in the mission (v0.5.1 or higher). Both SPON RearView and SPON Core are available in two versions: One is a client-side addon and the other is mission-script-based, which does not require any addons to be installed on client or server. Both require ArmA 1.09 or higher.

  Symphony Of War by ANZAC SAS Ron And Steve Addon release    
ANZAC SAS Steve has released a Symphony Of War Sound Mod by ANZAC SAS Ron And Steve on the BI Forums.

We have been working on this sound mod for awhile now and have gotten to a point where we are happy to release it .
I have many years experiance in the field of sound recording etc and was very unimpressed with the "dirtyness" of the Default Arma sounds.So like in OFP, we have made our own soundpack to use.
There has been alot of effort gone into making the distant sounds to give more ambience to the Battlefield.
Even more effort went into making the guns sound lifesize and strong.
Alot of time has been spent on making the game sound cleaner and nicer to the ears.It also has been designed with large battles in mind, so you will find the game will sound cleaner when large amounts of vehicles etc are being used in a mission.

  Free Tracking Camera 1.2 by Gigan Addon release    
Gigan has released an 1.2 update for his Free Tracking Camera addon on the BI Forums. This Addon adds camera function that can be freely moved to Armed Assault. Operation like camera.sqs is achieved.

What's new
- Added map click to jump mode (J key)

Camera moves immediately to map click point.

  BWMod v 0.1 (Public Beta) Addon release    
BW Mod has released his Leopard 2A6 on the BIS Forums !

Hey.
I have just decided to finish our Leopard 2A6 and release it as a public beta of our mod. It still has some bugs, some are known, some may be unknown. I don't know if we will be fixing the bugs or releasing more stuff as I'm pretty much the whole BWMod nowadays.

  Andy Binoculars Addon release    
andersson released a small but very usefull addon in the BIS Forums which enables you to look around while using binoculars.

I made this simple small addon as I like to take a quick look around while using my binoculars. With this addon you dont need to put them away, you can just rightclick and then use freelook or trackIR to look around without loosing what you were observing.

Feel free to use and reuse as you wish, no credit needed.

[KH]Jman from the Kellys Heroes team has informed us of the release of a 1.5r4 version of HiFiFX Sound Mod.

FIXES:
- m24_rb reloadSound. Config typo fixed.
- class AZP85 CannonCore. Config typo fixed.
- Warfare config: UH60MG Helicopter loudness changed from 80 to 50 inline with WarfareACE & 1.5 configs.

  GDTModHelicopter 1.02 released Addon release    
HeinBloed has released his updated GDTModHelicopter 1.02 addon on the BI Forums. This addon changes the helicopters: different flight behavior (increased moment of inertia), center of mass centered (left to right), motor less vulnerable, tail rotor more vulnerable.

Changelog 1.02

All weapon modifications removed.
Separate key for each addon.

  British Infantry updated by STALKERGB Addon release    
Beside his British RMC Units, STALKERGB has also released an update for his British Infantry addon on our Forums.

Right this is an updated version of my previous British Infantry.
I have renamed the files (from bisoldier & bisoldier2) to help with any compatability issues.
(I think the NBC addon was called bisoldier as well).
I have also reworked all the models and added Osprey body armour, this time it has been physically modelled rather than done with textures like last time.
I have also moddelled helmet tape for all the units and added NVG clips to the troop's helmets.
Like before there are desert and temperate DPM varients. Enjoy!

  Metal Gear Solid PMCs (beta) by ardvarkdb Addon release    
ardvarkdb has released a 0.5 Beta version of his Metal Gear Solid 4 inspired PMC units addon on the BI Forums.

I am releasing a beta version of my Metal Gear Solid 4 inspired PMC units. They are beta because I haven't had much time to test them, and I'm sure they will need tweaks here and there.
There are 5 units in all, all armed with M4's (I know they use SCAR's in MGS4). Each unit looks a little different, whether it be vest loadout, headgear, or equipment.
I have not tested them in multiplayer so I do not know if they will work, let me know if you spot any bugs.
Hope you enjoy the units!
