MAP_3DE The heart of it, of course, is the 3D editor by Silola

MAP_3DEMAP A completely new island that has been designed with the 3DE by Sgt. Ace and MCPXXL. The whole 3DE project team did help with designing nice and playable locations. It's worth stating that none of the team has any experience with visitor nor island editing with the exception of Sgt.Ace who just made an empty island with textures for that purpose. DAC-Sectorfight MP-Mission At first just planned as a demo this island did develop pretty well. So we ported an almost forgotten DAC mission by Silola to the new island to have some fun after all the work on our project. This DAC sectorfight mission is included in the download package as well. As one can tell by the server frames the island's performance is very fine and the mission runs smoothly. Saying all this we are very proud of the outcome of this project. It is best played with mapfact addons + ECS.
Here is the release of the FNC K-1 Pack. Read the readme and all will be well in the world Also if anyone is interested in some small time config work drop me a line. It is only small and simple stuff if you have experience with weapon creation. Enjoy.
HeinBloed just released another addon in the BIS Forums. The GDTModHDR allows you to disable/enable HDR when you want. With this Addon you can disable ArmA's HDR. This Addon is client side only.

V9.0 : Well here is the fixed version after V8 screwup.This version has damage texture fixes and I rebuilt the MG. I tidy'd up the tank in general...era is alittle more organized and matches the camo a bit better.I also tried to optimize it abit too in the LOD's.Dunno if it made any difference but we'll see.I think I'm fianally at the end of the line with this project, nothing more I can think to do on it.Hopefully there won't be any flaws in this release.I'll concentrate now on the BTR's.

This addon provides you with 4 new AH-1Z SuperCobras, each of these are equipped with AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles on the wingtips, engine startup sounds and a basic flare / missile spoofing script based on an older version done by BAS for Operation Flashpoint back in 2004.
Features included: - 4 versions of the AH-1Z including the original USMC low vis grey version, NATO/ROW Olive drab, the Sentinel 3 tone low vis grey custom skin and a RACS version in desert beige/mustard. - Each AH-1Z is armed with all the original weapons from the stock version of the game, plus a pair of AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles on the outermost pylons. - New engine sound effects and warnings. - Slightly reduced the chance of complete engine failure and increased the chance of damage to the control surfaces. - A very basic simulation of the AN/AAR-47 Missile Approach Warning System, plus flare countermeasures. - A much more robust flight model based on the fine work done by Heinbloed.

Only a few changes made, including a slight tweak to the config file so that it uses the Extended Eventhandlers - making it compatible with a lot of the newer 3rd party mods in circulation, plus a minor adjustment to the insidesoundcoef to make things louder for all those people using the HiFi sound mod.

Opteryx has updated his Avgani island and released version 1.1 on the BIS Forums.

Frontschwein has informed us about new developments about Armed Assault 2. First of all the website gamespy.com has announced that the english version of ArmA2 will be published by 505 Games (like ArmA 1) and the release date is set to the 1st Quarter 2009. 505 games will be publishing ArmA II in Europe, excluding Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

In the german speaking regions the game will be published by Peter Games (former Morphicon). Our newsposter Bence stumbled upon the shop of the HMH Hamburger Medien Haus (HMH is a partner of Peter Games) in which the German release date is set to the 16.10.2008.
All of these informations should not be taken for granted as BIS have not yet released an official release date.
A few days ago CRIONYK released two new addons (Multiplayer Plugin and Weapon Pack) over at the official Forums
Weapon Pack : This is a weapon pack which adds some modern european weapons to ArmA. it's used by all my addons.
This weapon pack contains :
- Glock - P228 - MP5 - UMP - G36C - HK416 - HK417 - FAMAS - plus some BIS reworked weapons.
Multiplayer Plugin : First pack is the multiplayer plugin which allows the player to choose differents replacements for each side. Marpat desert and woodland to blufor, Flora to Opfor and some new camo to RACS.
How to install : - unzip @CrioMod into your ArmA folder - Edit "Crio_PluginConfig.hpp" in @CrioMod to use the replacements
