zGuba has released his updated -v0.9- zTanks Merge addon on the BI Forums.
This mod merges community made tank unit features such as blown turret FX and firing control system into single continous and MP compatible mod. It replaces original T-72 and M1A1.

Opteryx has released updated Avgani 1.5 & Afghan village 1.0 maps on the BI Forums.
It's been over a year since I started Avgani and I have done multiple versions of the map, but I think it is time for me to move on to something else, otherwise I would probably just keep going for another year..
So what's new in this version? Well I'm too lazy to keep a changelog, but Avgani has been reworked very heavily from the previous version and I consider this to be the final version unless there are any major unseen bugs, so.. see for yourself. As for my Afghan village map, I am updating this just with a few minor changes, but also so that the old version wouldn't conflict with the new OPX* addons.
Also, Avgani seems to have some issues with performance on my computer, I'm not sure why, but it could be just the map being very object dense. Please report back bugs/errors.

ModEmMaik has released today a beta version of his Bradley ADATS M2A2 on our forums.

zGuba has released an updated -v4- zBLUFOR replacement addon on the BI Forums.
After release of zPartisants and zWarfare I've decided to create similar replacement pack for default BLUFOR soldiers. Here it comes! Main purpose of this replacement is playing BIS, Berzerk or zWarfare missions with new BLUFOR outfit.

Ardvarkdb informed us about the release of his Multicam Special Forces Units addon.
While waiting for the BI Forums to come back online I thought I would just send you guys a link to my multicam units I have been working on for some time.
They are in beta, as I have not had any time to really test them, so I'm sure there are some minor issues here and there, but otherwise they should be working. There are 24 units in total. Special thanks to Jonny and Scubaman3D. Here are a couple quick screenshots I took.

... We are pleased to release the first batch of soldier units. A big thank you to ASZ and CimaleX for the modification and textures and the months of work put into the soldier models. Falcon1 applied the final touches to the SADF soldier pack. Our team member SAAF developed a script for the SADF Mortar Platoon which enables them to pack and carry the M3 mortar and place the mortar for fire support missions. We have tried to keep the soldiers as realistic as possible and FALCON1 did everything possible to keep them authentic with the pat67 and pat82 webbing. ... More hard work by ASZ and CimaleX. This time its the SWAPO/PLAN soldier pack. ... Soldiers wear variations of the different cammo schemes, the most common one being the East German "Rice Pattern" . All weapons are from our custom weapons pack.
Next week we will add the FAPLA, 32 Battalion and SADF Parachute Brigades commonly referred to as the "Parabats". The Ovamboland island is also near completion. So we are working towards a mini-mod teaser release with missions by CimaleX before ArmAII is released.
Nicholas Bell has released a set of Razani "planning maps" by SoLoSniper on the BI Forums.
SoLoSniper has created three very nice planning maps for the current version of Razani. These are created from the ingame map, and are 2268 x 2259 pixels and are of course much sharper than the tiny images below. Thanks SoLo !
Some facts about the Pomegrat project. It's my 1st map and my first run in the modding world. I spend 3 months on the project, sometimes working a full day on the job. I have redone it twice, learning the hard way. I was helped all along the road by Floosy, my game ADO team mate, himself known for his Tatawin and Isla del Jonas islands.
The map is built with PvP in mind, but AI are doing ok on it as far as I have tested ... The main issue for AI is the long seawall between the two parts of this island.
Some facts about Pomegrat Island :
Of course, this island does not exist in RL but it's shape is based along the "Pomegues et Ratonneau" islands near Marseilles. The map is larger than the model and less rocky. As on the model you can find here and there remains of military equipments, some of them centuries old.

Alpha version is out The test showed pretty good results, on a dedicated server as well. Nearly every MI-8 was downed during close encounter on a yahnuta crCTI.
