Sharpe's Rifles mod - WIP shot Screenshots
stubblehopper has sent us news about Sharpe's Rifles mod WIP and a shot of the French Napoleonic artillery.

Still plugging away at this mod, here's some screenies of the latest progress which includes French Napoleonic artillery, using the guns from the original Flashpoint Napoleonic mod, with the D30 as the base model. Also started work on a new combat environment for the mod, pictures of which you can see with the 95th Rifles walking through, showing the first early 19th century village, mostly made using some of Sarmat's retextured buildings. The new island will eventually include serval new villages, a large town and many isolated walled farms and farm buildings, with a complete removal of all things modern, such as, tarmac roads, high rise buildings, signs and any modern achitecture. The mod is basically a Napoleonic skirmish mod not a line formation battle mod, as PC arn't powerful enough to support that kind of game using this engine. I will be asking for BETA testers shortly and will release to them some infantry models, probably British Riflemen and French Voltageurs. Anyways, enjoy the screens.

ACE L-39ZA Armament Expansion and Russian Version Screenshots
Sickboy has informed us about ACE L-39ZA WIP from the ACE blog.

The latest ongoing development update features the Russian version of the trainer jet L-39ZA with combat capabilities. It comes in the classic green-sand colors with Russian decals and two different armaments.

Additional to the present payload version of the Takistan faction with 4 UB-16 Pods containing 64 rockets of 57mm caliber and the planes dual 23mm cannon, a bomber version with 4 FAB-250 M-54 bombs will be in service to provide more firepower.
This makes the L-39ZA the perfect Close Air Support plane for the terrain size of Takistan.

  Sharpes Rifle's Mod Screenshots
Stubblehopper has informed us about his projects and has sent some Sharpes Rifle's Mod WIP pics

Been too busy with real life to do much with this lately, but just started again after a long break and here's what I've been upto, added some Highlanders, some French infantry and some Prussians in the form of Landwehr and Line infantry. I've got a horse in game and working, but could do with better animations, both for cavalry and wagons. In the works are artillerymen for all sides, some Feench hussars, cuirassiers and light infantry, could still use some help with particle effects for musket and cannon fire, as I don't have the knowhow myself, not yet anyways. A lot of these are still not quite finished but thanks for looking.

  Invasion 1944 - I44_TVT_Verloren_1_32 Preview Screenshots

JdB from the [Invasion 1944] mod sent us the following preview of one of the missions that will be in the port of their D-Day project.

The second preview of one of our multiplayer missions that will be featured in the D-Day project port. This time, the mission is "I44_TVT_Verloren_1_32".

"Verloren" is a 1-32 player Team vs Team mission created by Pac (mission-design and scripting) and SFG (music).

Your objective:

November 1944, A small German squad has broken through enemy lines and destroyed a vital factory, American patrols and checkpoints have been setup around their last know position. German players must escape to nearby exfiltration points manned by friendly units by any means necessary. American players can either secure the checkpoints which act as shared respawn areas, join the search in the surrounding area supported by AI hunter teams, or try and setup an ambush at one or more of the exfiltration points.

Invasion 1944 - Status update Screenshots
JdB from the Invasion 1944 Mod has informed us about mod status as well as Wacht am Rhein project status.

We've been working steadily on both the port of the D-Day project, as well as on creating the Wacht am Rhein project.

The content for the D-Day project is about finished as far as the visuals are concerned, and the main thing left to do is testing to find and eliminate bugs. We have unfortunately hit a snag during testing. After updating ArmA2 to the latest patch (1.07), the mod refused to start at all. Everything was still working perfectly fine in 1.05, so our coder assumes it is related to the changes in the latest patch, and more specifically, a change in the executable. We haven't been able to determine the exact cause so far, and have therefore not yet fixed this minor issue. Until then, only limited testing is possible.

Thanks to our team member B@Co, the Wacht am Rhein project now has a proper logo.

Artwork for the Wacht am Rhein project is being developed at a reasonable pace. Since the main focus is primarily on fixing the issues with the D-Day project, coding is not a priority right now, although of course a lot of the D-Day code can be re-used, saving us a lot of effort. A map covering the area around Stavelot is in progress. The content is in various stages of development, labeled "Work in Progress". As we have a policy to show only content that is basically done in newsposts, we've created a separate page for them instead, where you can view many screenshots, renders and other images, to give you an impression of what we've been working on the last few months.

The "Artist Galleries" can be accessed by clicking the link HERE.
