On the BIS Forums, Abs from ONS - Operation Northstar posted 6 more screen captures of their Canadian Units and Ch-47.
With much thanks to Smiley Nick, Wld427, and the gang, this bad boy (Chinook) will be released soon with the troops in order to deliver them anywhere they need to go on the batllefield.
And some pics of the troops with the different weapons.

 Rhodesy77 from the newly started Project Aus Mod has posted dozens of screenshots showing their upcoming mod, on the BIS Forums. We have selected a few, if you want to see all of them, head over to the BIS Forums.
As of now Project Aus is a go!
Project Aus is a ArmA2 modification that will bring modern Australian Defence Force units to the game. Project Aus started off as a personal project between a few mates, but recently it has been decided that we will go public with our releases. Currently we are focusing on just geting australian units into the game, therefor for our first release a large amount of the mod will be re-skinned or modified community addons (with all permissions and credits of course) as we are currently short of a experienced 3D modeler. However, after we get a initial release out to the public, and have more experience under our belts, we do plan to model our own eqipment. Also we will be recieving 3D models and textures from our friends of the ADF mod for the Project Reality mod for BF2. (shown below) Anyway onto the pictures, please keep in mind that we are still chasing permissions for some of these units, therefor we claim NO credit for the following models (unless stated) all credit is with their respective creators, only thing currently that is our own work is the skins (unless stated, and this will change in the future)

The FDF Mod has returned with a screenshot showing their first vehicle in ArmA 2. The first released image does display Scania R500 truck. Welcome to ArmA2 FDF Mod !
A convoy of Scania R500 8x4 trucks parked beside a gravel road with ammo truck in the front followed by repair and refuel variants. 192 Finnish-built general purpose trucks were recently purchased by FDF after EU-wide contract competition was won by Scan-Auto Finland Ltd.
Scania trucks will phase out various outdated trucks such as Soviet-built ZILs.
[u]With these news FDFmod has jumped on the ARMA 2 bandvagon.

I've been working on a project to bring the Steyr into ArmA2.
Current work in progress pics. No material applied yet, just a basic diffuse. I've taken a little artistic license with their creation. I've also got custom recordings of Steyr sounds for shots fired. Not long till the alpha release, just need to do the materials.

4 screenshots made by itim_tuko showing off the upcoming CZM - Conflict Zone Mindanao Simba have been posted on the BIS Forums.
CZM is back with some new wip. The Mod will be made for both ArmA and ArmA II.
I couldnt call this a mod about the Philippine Army if I would skip the Simba APC and as I made a break in my studies I had some time to make the first attemps to create a new Simba (skipped the old model I had as it was to awfull).
The Philippine Army is the only army in the world who uses the Simba APC. Remember that this still is an Alpha model and I only spend 6 hours on it sofar.

[SEN]Archangel released more info and a picture of his upcoming AH-1Z Pack on the BI Forums.
And as a bonus to the AH-1's I've also added these reskinned UH-1Y's to the Helo pack I'm working on. I'll be adding hidden selections and markings 'etc' if/when BIS release the source models to the community as I'd need to be able to edit the models in Oxygen before I can add anything to them.
I'll probably release the beta in a week or two depending on how I get on with the skinning, configs, scripts and of course the testing.

Right, hello again everyone!
Ok, here is a couple of WIP pics of the Assault Webbing i have been working on, still alot to do to it (mainly relating to the textures), I have gone for the modular style webbing that Poacher and da12thMonkey showed me loads of images for (thanks to them).
The new shaders are working on the webbing but as with the colour map this could well be worked on lots more One problem i have had is that the scale of the PALS loops are a bit big on the fron although these are buried under pouches so it shouldn't matter too much.
Any suggestions welcome, the main thing i am thinking of changing is the underlying DPM colour on the Assault vest, for now i have the lighter version i used on my old Brit units but i also have the current DPM i am using, just wondered if people think it should be a bit different...
Sorry bout leaving the crosshair on the last pic lads...
Oh Also i will have to take a break for a couple days (would really like to crack on) but I'm doing photographs for a wedding so will be busy with that instead...
EDIT: Might get round to putting a texture to the NVG clip too.... bout time really...

I am currently working on a Izmash submachine gun from scratch. To introduce you:
The Vitaz is a new russian 9mm submachine gun by Izmash, not yet aquired by the Russian Federation Army.
The following versions are planned:
- Military Package - Vitaz G (Ground Version) - Vitaz Silenced - Vitaz Kobra Scope - Vitaz Kobra/Silenced - Vitaz Laser
Civilian Package - Vitaz G (With orange tip and semi automatic) - Vitaz NL (Shooting with non lethal pellets, not sure yet how to script that)
Atm I am solving the LODS, Parallex Maps and Configuration.
Status atm: 40%
I will update the ticker above regulary, so make sure you keep tuning in! I am always open for critism, positive as negative. Hope making addons is appreciated, Regards

USSRsniper released two new images of his work in progress M-200 Sniper Rifle.
UV mapping done, did some basic Ambient Occlusion. And got it in game.
And don't expect to sue it on ranges of 2286 meters in ArmA 2 because no matter what view distance soldiers simply dissapear somewhere around 1000 meters

Right to get MehMan away from feeling dirty I'm gonna distract everyone with an update
The Beltkit is now on the units (or at least the ones that are using the new model, so thats the rifleman and marksman for now), the model is courtesy of Cougar so a big thanks to him, I only made small adjustments to it (added a bit to the back of the webbing, re-shaped it to fit my unit model). I have also added the new shaders to the webbing although i haven't done it in any real detail yet so will be going back over that at some point.
Although not much visually (except the beltkit) has changed i have been combining lots of textures to make things a little more efficient, trying to keep it a 1 a model but I don't think I will really ever achieve that.
The buttons on the smock have been changed (i hope Jonny_Li doesn't mind that i used the button from his pictures), the shaders have yet to be properly updated for the button though so it still looks like a large press stud.
Oh and the inside of the smock is greener now (think i already metioned that somewhere).

Fortran released two pictures of a work in progress A-10 aircraft on the BI Forums.
Working on a small port of the BIS MLOD A-10 from A1 over to A2. This really began because I wanted to change the way the weapons were displayed on the pylons and without the A2 MLOD's this wasn't possible (issues shown in this post).
Also wanted to load any missile/bomb loadout onto the jet and have it display properly on whichever pylons I wanted. Have converted the original MLOD A-10 over and edited the model to have only 2 FFAR pods and now 11 hardpoints (9 + the 2 FFAR).
Will also be making it IAWS compatible so the weapon loadout can be changed on-the-fly in-game. Had loads of help from Myke so big thanks to him. Will be releasing this when completed for anybody who wants more flexibility in the A-10.
Might also re-skin and make some other minor changes including maybe a new weapon for the center pylon such as a clusterbomb or something else. Is still WIP, proxies need repositioning etc.
Mini update. Fixed some texture problems, now using the new super shader. Fixed the proxies etc. Testing a camo pattern

FAFw (Forces Armées Française Workshop) is a Bohemia Interactive ArmA 2 game Mod. Developement is done by right from the start fans team on a free basis. Our pleasure ? Let express our artistic sense, go modding equipments and units we are dedicated to, give ArmA2 a plus in order to play French troops.
You will know, when the time comes.
