Albertors published a video of their latest progress on the RH MGS Wpn Pack.
I just finished setting the CQB point of view for the old weapons in the pack (Custom M4s, M4 SIRs, SCAR-L, SCAR-H) and I am now moving to the new entries in the pack!
Albertors released a new video showing some of their testing for ACE compatibility of Robert Hammer's "Rearmed" Weapon Packs.
A quick video shot during some of our testing for ACE compatibility of Robert Hammer's "rearmed" weapon packs.
The chatter you hear is from an operation I wasn't taking part in (not related to the video :)).
We're trying to find a more realistic way of using the CQB function in ACE. In this video an M4A1 SBR with RIS handgrip is mounting an ACOG scope.
The ACOG is a magnifying scope that becomes useless or even dangerous in close-quarters combat. For this reason the soldier pushes his body as close as possible to the rifle itself and places his line of sight as close as possible to the ironsight "line".
This mode makes it possible for the soldier to maintain good situational awareness and aim in close-quarters situations. Remember this is just a test and what you see is a videogame.
stubblehopper has informed us about the release of a YouTube video featuring British Light Dragoons units from the Sharpe's Rifles Mod
This mod is still very much WIP, but here's the latest progress report, almost finished these British Light Dragoons so I thought I'd show them off, just some finishing touches required.
NoRailgunner nas informed the community about the release of a new ArmA2 Operation ArrowheadYouTube trailer on the BI Forums. Three years after the conflict in Chernarus, portrayed in the original ARMA 2, a new flashpoint in the Green Sea region heats up and coalition forces led by the US Army are sent to Takistan to quickly restore peace and prevent further civilian casualties in the unstable region.
The first instalment in the series of ingame videos, introduces the factions in ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead, forthcoming standalone expansion pack to ARMA 2. This video introduces Alliance forces lead by the US Army which is sent to Takistan to quickly restore peace and prevent further civilian casualties in this unstable region.
To avoid any misunderstanding - the helicopter without pilot really exists :) it's not a bug - it's one of the UAVs and player will have the possibility to use them in game.
stubblehopper has informed us about the release of a new YouTube video featuring units of his upcoming Sharpe's Rifles mod.
Here's a preview of the South Essex Regiment, for the Sharpe's Rifles mod, I'll be doing a vid for every unit that appears in the mod. They are almost complete, just a few tweaks in terms of minor things like shoulder wings, and short sword for the drummers and so, but in terms of the models about 99% done anyways.
stubblehopper has informed us about the release of aSharpe's Rifles Mod Teaser on YouTube.
Here's a first look at the Sharpe's Rifles mod, still a long way to go with regard to characterisation and general work on the mod, but all the models are fully working and look the part, hope you enjoy it!
