Is the model based on Marfy's old Firefly? because the barrel looks like a 'sawn-off' 17pdr, being straight from gun mantel to end of barrel. The standard Sherman had a more tapered gun barrel.

And, talking of Firefly's is there any danger of seeing one? I understand the focus on US units - but it's just what I've always wanted!

The model of "Marfy's old Firefly" was not done by Marfy, but by Rufus, which is what this Sherman is loosely based on. The tank on the screenshots has a 76mm gun, not the 75mm one.

The 75, 76 and 105mm (howitzer) are planned, the Firefly is not (right now anyway).

The screenshot Deadeye posted was posted on the public forum, where we posted it was original made by Marfy and edited by John and me.
Didnt had anything to do with the website release as it was just a WIP screenshot that has been released on the boards.
