That's right, G3 series use standard 7.62 x 51 mm FMJ ammunition. In German Army the cartridge is called DM41.
As reference you can use the DMR magazine in ArmA2. But please make own mags for the G3 because the DMR / M14 mags do not fit the G3, only its cartridges do.
The optical sight of the G3 SG1 is supposed not to be correct. Unfortunately I do not remember the used scope and its reticle. Magnification should be beetween 4x and 6x.
Sound is quite good, recoil too I think.
Maybe you want to create a G3ZF which is not the same as the G3SG1. The G3SG1 has only semiautomatic fire, the G3ZF is a regular G3 with attached scope.

This G3 looks pretty good, nice sound and everything.
But usally a G3 has a 7,61 mm x 51 Nato cal., not 5,56 mm Nato cal.. ;)
And usally you should kill a cow with only ONE shot in the head.
You should make this Gun a bit stronger, and Change the cal. from 5,56 to 7,62, than it will be perfect!
