Sergei_Q updated his Lada 1200 addon and released it on the BI Forums.
This add-on offers you three variants of the Soviet Lada 1200 (VAZ 2101) car: red and blue paintjobs, plus as a bonus a custom limousine version for VIP missions.
Features:
-four or six seats -rear window heating :) -functional speedometer and fuel gauge -dampers, so it can cross Sahrani bridges -clan sign for multiplayer (sorry, no flag for now) -digitally signed -damage textures (just for external hull, I'm a lazy bastard)
The Lada model, textures and config were modified from Vilas' FIAT, so a big salute to him.
Hi, i've updated this weapons pack with the latest and fixed version V1.2 thanks to HitmanFF, that fixed an error message that appeared in multiplayer due to a minor config mistake; now the pack, also have the right signature files needed to use it in dedicated servers.
Pingu has released an updated version of his Claymore addon on the BI Forums. It's easier to place and rotate the Claymore in this updated version using a "sight in" option on ingame menu. Patch 1.09 is still needed.
After input from the beta testing of my claymores, I've done some work one them and here they are ... New features: Easy to adjust with peep sight. New sound. Minor ballistic changes.
While you all wait for the high quality stuff from FDF Mod here's something you can play around with in the mean time. This addon is made by request of certain community members. However since its not directly releated to our mod, it might not be completely accurate.
Even if its a dawn of m/05 combat equipment and uniform, most of finnish conscripts still uses mixture of m/62 uniform, m/85 combat belt, m/95 helmet and m/91 frag vest during combat training. This addon attempts to simulate it on best it can and still keep performance on slower computers, so don't expect all too high quality work.

arremba_san_zorzo has sent us a lot of work in progress screenshots of his Italian units. The pictures are showing "feathered" troops of Alpini and Bersaglieri, Amphibious troops of Lagunari and San Marco, Navy Commando, Headquarter staff and Heli Pilot.
Many of this troops are developing in BDU camo (2000 age) or in digital camo (today). About digital camo, i say a big thank to DrRebus that allowed me to use his textures of the camo, boots and the the belt.
ObmaR from the Bush Wars Conflict Mod released another very interesting tutorial on our forums. This time he explains how to set up glass damage effects in vehicles. Here is the Glass Damage Tutorial I promised, I have converted it to .pdf for easier reading and downloading as well as online viewing.
If you do have made a tutorial for Armed Assault, please submit it to our website.
Our new Alouette III pack is finally completed. After the first beta release and all the feedback I received regarding bugs and texture problems. I completely reworked the Alouette III models as the originals where made with the old O2 tool. Added lots of small detail and enhanced the model textures as well as the bump mapping. I also completely remade the rotor section based on actual photos. The rest of the model I tried to keep as accurate as possible while keeping the poly count as low as possible. I think I have the right balance and I made them specifically with ArmAII in mind. I have included 4 versions of the Alouette III AS316/B as used by the South African Airforce during the Bush War
SWAT-guy from the IMW Mod team has released a new weekly report on their web site.
Sorry for the wait on the update, we all been really busy working on the mod and Mr.Life. But on top of that here's our fourth update! Apache-Cobra has been working hard on remaking MAP_AIR's AH-64D Apache Helicopter, and it's looking good! Here's some screenshots of Opteryx new map Avgani/El Ayaldiyah
ObmaR from the Bush Wars Conflict Mod has posted four very nice screenshots of his upcoming Alouette IIIs pack in our forums. He's working also on a tutorial to show how to implement and script the Glass Damage animation.
Here are the comments for the screenshots below:
Picture #1: The Alouette III AS316/B in Search & Rescue configuration with wench. I will add a wench script at a later stage when it is completed.
Picture #2: The K-car Gunship version with 20mm Ga1 cannon includes AP and HE rounds. The most prominent feature of the K-car was the specialy developed Heat shield around the turbine which vented the exhaust gasses up towards the rotors. This minimised the heatsignature of the helicopter making it difficult for the Russian SAMs to lock onto target. I have implemented this feature with the add-on. Ingame you cannot lock on to the K-car with a Stinger or any Surface to Air missile.
Picture #3: The G-car version with 7.62mm FNMAG for FireForce and COIN operations
Picture #4: The Missile Gunship version with 2 X AS12 Stand-of-Missiles. Includes a laser designator with a 2000 meter LOS to target. I have tried to keep it as original as possible (from limited available photos) and have included the South African Manufactured Missile Guidence System. Only 2 versions where ever made and used Operationaly in Angola by the SAAF.
