CimaleX informed us about the release of Pedagne Mod Vehicles WIP screenshots featuring IVECO 6614 light Armored Vehicle, armed Land Rover 90 and SpecOps version of Iveco VM90.
Italian addonmaker "Arremba San Zorzo" of Pedagne Mod released today some more screenshots of his incoming updated vehicles pack. This time we can see a light armored vehicle, the FIAT (Now Iveco) 6614, an armed reconoissance 4x4 car born during the 70's and developed until recent years, a prototype was also armed with roof mounted "Snia-Ppd" MRL-rockets. Arremba has developed also some light armed vehicles, and armed Land Rover 90 (with M2, Mk19 and TOW ATGM) as well as the SpecOps version of Iveco VM90. Special Operations vehicles are usually driven by the SpecOps of "IX Para Rgt. Col Moschin" (army Special Forces) and their colleagues of the "GOI - Gruppo Operativo Incursori" (Navy Raiders). Some more vehicles are under final development, as well as a pack of missions made by CimaleX.
Pedagne Mod is still looking for a dedicated person who can help the Mod with vehicles/choppers config files.
Also new soldier models are under develpoment, like the mg gunner with ammo belt that you can see with bwc mod, it has been developed by Arremba. Stay tuned...
Ardvarkdb informed us about the release of his Multicam Special Forces Units addon.
While waiting for the BI Forums to come back online I thought I would just send you guys a link to my multicam units I have been working on for some time.
They are in beta, as I have not had any time to really test them, so I'm sure there are some minor issues here and there, but otherwise they should be working. There are 24 units in total. Special thanks to Jonny and Scubaman3D. Here are a couple quick screenshots I took.
Placebo informed the community about BIS Forums migration on the "old" BI Forums. Due to a power supply failure at our web host provider on Wednesday we're about one day behind schedule on the migration, so current ETA is now tomorrow (Friday 10th April), if there are any further issues/delays they will be reported to this thread.
Placebo informed the community about what to expect in the next days on the BI Forums. BI Forums will be on read-only state from April 7th to April 9th.
We've successfully resolved the migration issues we were having and will thus turn off these forums at noon today GMT to complete a second migration attempt, fingers crossed this will be the last one!
Estimates are currently that the forums will return, all fresh and shiny sometime Thursday 9th April.
itim_tuko from the Conflict Zone Mindanao Mod has informed us about the release of new WIP screenshots featuring Parola Island on the BI Forums.
Some ingame screenshots of Parola Island ... The other 2 island are also finished and internal beta testing has started. Pics of the Nanzi Dao and Soutreef will follow after I finished the Vietnamese troops.
Jan Hlavatý has left a message on the BI Community Blog that BI are going to retry the migration of the Forums again next week.
Guys I just want to let you know that I have resolved the post truncation problem and we will have another attempt at migration next week. Stay tuned! (posted 2009-04-03 21:08:21)

itim_tuko mod leader from the Conflict Zone Mindanao Mod released several pictures of their Parola Island (Norteast Cay), wich are occupied by the Philippines, and their Nanzi Dao Island (Southwest Cay), formerly Philippine territory but now occupied by Vietnam. He also published three new pictures of several new characters.
... We are pleased to release the first batch of soldier units. A big thank you to ASZ and CimaleX for the modification and textures and the months of work put into the soldier models. Falcon1 applied the final touches to the SADF soldier pack. Our team member SAAF developed a script for the SADF Mortar Platoon which enables them to pack and carry the M3 mortar and place the mortar for fire support missions. We have tried to keep the soldiers as realistic as possible and FALCON1 did everything possible to keep them authentic with the pat67 and pat82 webbing. ... More hard work by ASZ and CimaleX. This time its the SWAPO/PLAN soldier pack. ... Soldiers wear variations of the different cammo schemes, the most common one being the East German "Rice Pattern" . All weapons are from our custom weapons pack.
Next week we will add the FAPLA, 32 Battalion and SADF Parachute Brigades commonly referred to as the "Parabats". The Ovamboland island is also near completion. So we are working towards a mini-mod teaser release with missions by CimaleX before ArmAII is released.
Deadfast has informed us he has again translated a preview in English, today, it's an iDNES.tv ArmA2 preview released in November 2008. Nice to have a look at this video and have a hint about what is said ... unless you speak Czech fluently of course, don't forget to enable captions !
I've translated another older ArmA 2 video. This time it's a preview/interview by iDNES.tv originally released on November 27 2008. The video can be seen on YouTube.
