DaGuy released his SADF Weapon Pack over at Armaholic.com. Today I release a small weapon pack. It features the South African made R5 rifle, in various versions (like the ARM and galatz). Textures are alpha (some are even missing) but thats because thats an old version of mine. Goes best with the BWC Mod Units.
Known issues: This is an Alpha release, some textures are missing.
v0.2 released the long awaited Virtual Operations Soundmod (YASM) in version 1.17 in the BIS Forums. Hey lads, I've finished my 1.17 version of VopSound/YASM. As Blechreiz mentioned, I tried to make an alternative Soundpack for ACE aswell, but due to config problems, I've lost my patience on this. (I hate those AK47 bullet cracks from ACE :hm: ) So I decided to release my stuff without ACE replacements.
This will be my last update for ArmA, but I'm looking forward to ArmA II and the sweet brand new sound engine. ArmA sounds are restricted to one sound per class and this limits my creativity :whi: too much. ArmA II will be a milestone in sound engineering and I can't wait to look into this.

While browsing through various forums, our German Section NewsposterImutep has stumbled across the public alpha release of the Ossetia War mod made by SARMAT Studio.
Ossetia War Mod tells the story about the conflict between Georgia and the little province Ossetia. At the moment only in alpha version.
TonyRanger has sent us 3 more impressive videos showing the upcoming FFN Mod 0.82 in action.
These videos contain some vehicle AI,which show how a tank cooperates with infantry. The tank will give soldiers close range fire support, destroy enemy covers, such as buildings and walls if someone lets him to know that there are some enemies behind those. The will Tank ride over walls while advancing.At last there is a 10 mins' video showing how mutilpe units fight in a big town.
The guys from Invasion 1944 sent us an update about their Invasion 1944: D-Day mod. JdB had the following to say:
Lately we've been making quite a bit of progress, adding new things and improving upon existing content in terms of playability and performance. Some close friends have returned after not having worked on the mod for a while, adding to our productivity. Besides the development shown on the screenshots below, work is being carried out on things like the M8 Greyhound, Willys MB, MG42 and the Sherman Firefly. These aren't ready to be shown yet.
SNKMAN has released a D.S.A.I. Incoming Fix for his Group Link 3 v.1.3 on the BI Forums. Fix: This fix do slove the bug, where units/players did always shout after a rocket/shell impacts right beside/nearby their position. How to use: unRar Copy the "GL3_Core.pbo" from the "Group.Link.3.v.1.3.D.S.A.I.Incoming.Fix" folder to "@GL3\AddOns\".
zGuba has released an updated -v1.15- version of his Compact Fix for ArmA on the BI Forums. Works with ArmA 1.14/1.15. Extended EventHandlers 1.9 by Solus and Killswitch needed (included in the pack).

NZDF CRASH from the NZDF Mod informed us on our forums that they have released several new screenshots of their work in progress A-4K Skyhawk.
Hey all thought i'd share some screenshots of the work we have been doing on the New Zealand Defence Force Mod. link to the bi forum thread is HERE Our latest piece is the A-4K Skyhawk which was retired in 2003 but for the purpose of arma we thought we may as well bring the old bird back to do what she does best. Have come across a few difficulties such as mk82 not showing up in ammo count or firing etc so any help would be appreciated to get this bird bombing the crap out of some sla or taleban. A4 originally col. klink's and ported originally to arma by southy and retro-fitted to Kahu designation by me.
