Yoma has updated his excellent Addon Synchroniser Tool on the BI Forums. For installation information, see below!
New version v1.0.0.258 :
-started somewhat integrating signing tools (you have to download and install them yourself, they are not distributed with my tool) - to install the tools check the settings tab -added a tab on the repositry generator where you can sign/check signatures on folders. - you can create private and public keys - you can sign addons from within the tool - you can check addon signatures from within the tool - you can also delete bunches of unsigned addons with the tool (be warned!;)
Its pretty basic atm but it works. In time I will add signing functionality to the automatic repositry generator too.
Installation: 1. Click "update" in the program and it will update itself to the latest version. 2. Download from Yoma's website (click below)!
Myke has released an update -v1.11- for his GLT Signs addon on the BI Forums.This pack contains 12 objects which can be textured on your own (in fact they have to, or they will be transparent/invisible).Sample pictures are also provided in the templates folder. For each sign you'll find a .png with a pic. Use this to create your own road signs or billboards.

grotol informed us that Dr_Eyeball released his Merlin - Training System in the BIS Forums. This training system will allow the players a edit the MP scenario in real time. For detailed information about his island, please head over to the BIS Forum Topic, or check out the pdf file included in the archive.
Overview:
What is Merlin? This is a continual WIP. Do not consider it a finished product yet. But it has proven to work well enough for clan based training scenarios so far. Expect some updates. It wasn't actually intended for public release, but some players have expressed interest and it also serves as a technical demo.
What are Merlin's benefits & what is it's purpose?
- Provides a suitable controllable training environment for clans - It's primary feature is realtime MP multi-person scenario editing. - It is not in any way a replacement for: complex missions, story-driven missions, published missions, plus all the other training missions and 3D editors out there already. - ability to save and load the mission at run-time to/from clipboard - Allows you to create quick scenarios for many of the new islands, without requiring access to upload missions to a server without the need to clog up a server with single-use missions - Provides the tested complex core system of game functionality without the need to know how to incorporate it into each of your missions. Things like: JIP, respawn systems, broadcasting, etc.
Finally Chammy has released version 2 of his excellent sound mod in the BIS Forums. We advise you to download it as it is really impressive. 456820 also made a short video and uploaded it to YouTube.

Even though some people say otherwise, we're still alive and working on stuff. These pictures made by NSXr prove it. Releasedate? When it's done but most probably there will be a release for ArmA. ... I don't wanna go too much into details right now, but all units are done except Guba and Angelina which are WIP. The remaining two civilians Schnapsdrosel is doing now.
The armored vehicles we don't have already in ArmA are done or close to be called done. Same with the wheeled vehicles where most needs to be textured or retextured. Most work not finished yet are the weapon models and civilian vehicles.
I want to use the chance here and thank all the many, many people out there which donated their work to us, or gave us their permission to use their models. Without them we wouldn't be where we are now.
Once again Southy has released a new airplane addon on the BI Forums. Here is Eurofighter a conversion of Hardrock's BWmod's Opf Eurofighter addon, with full Hardrock's authorizations.

Added gloves to all pilots , changed West side helmet from HUB to SAH, East side modeled on the former Warsaw Pact pilots. I decided to remove from the new package dead pilot's body. Myke released another small addon in the Armaholic.com Forums. This addon gives you the opportunity to add your own images to a billboard. Read the readme for more information.
This addon contains 2 Billboards which can be fitted with own posters.
How to add own textures: ======================== Pretty easy, in the initline of the billboard, add this line: this setObjectTexture [0, "path_to_picture\name_of_picture.jpg"]
If the .jpg is in the root folder of your mission (where the mission.sqm is), path_to_picture\ is obsolete.
blacKKnight63 has released his --=Terrain Starter Kit=--, which teaches you how to get into island making in the BIS Forums.
This pack was made to help people who have never made a map before, Make a Map!
It includes 5 Terrain Templates (terrain.png's) 5 Sat_LCO's and 5 Masks! For the DEM/SRTM Data I used the USGS Seamless Server,Or I Made the Heightmap in GeoControl, I then imported the data into VTBuilder and used the area tool to export that to .bt format which I imported into L3DT and generated the Sat_LCO's! I have left the masks a standard colour to simulate the area of which they are based etc!
It contains 4 variants of the CH-47: Black, grey, green and desert.
The original model was created by AfrographX. Those credits belongs to him. GLT changed some parts of the original model: - new rotors (taken from BIS UH-60 and adapted to fit). - new wheels (also taken from BIS UH-60). - new textures, based on the original textures. - tweaked the flight model to fit better the size of this baby. - changed the engine/rotor sound
Some bugs/unfinished parts are still in: - Ugly (low res) cockpit textures (is WIP). - no working instruments (WIP). - no damage textures yet. - you can't enter the chopper through the opened ramp. - minor things in config that needs tweakings
Just to prevent some questions: - No, you won't be able to load any vehicles visually inside the chopper. - No, actually we don't plan to add any weapons to it (may change in the future). - Yes, in the final version you will be able to transport vehicles by hooking them under the chopper.
