PMC has released "PMC Apache" for ArmA just now!
Its an AH-64 Apache gunship helicopter, ported from OFP. This addon's purpose is to have simple, working and high performance apache for ArmA. It includes merged textures, normal / specular maps, damage textures. It has properly modeled low resolution LOD to guarantee high performance even on heavy use.
Three versions are included; multi role, close support and ground suppression.
Munkee has released his very first addon, some UK SAS units on our Forums. This addon is based on the ill-fated desert patrol unit "Bravo Two Zero" from the 1991 Gulf War. The 8 units have worn fatigues, swathy skin tone, facial growth and as realistic a loadout as I can give them at this time. At the moment, they have no bergens (heavy pack), this will be included in the v1.1 release of this addon later in the year. 2nd release will also work to fix things like blood textures which do not work at the moment.

After about a month after the previous release, we would like to present to you: Patch 5 The new version is available as update, and as full setup. Sorry for the update size, though we hope we have resolved the 'long/malformed faces' bug, amongst many others.

Hello everybody!
I have finally managed to finish my British Special Forces, there is still alot i would like to do with them but haven't had the time so will add or change in the future.
Right, down to the details, these units are not really meant to represent a particular part of the British Special Forces they are more a generic "Special Forces" you can use. So you can call the SAS/SBS/CTU or whatever when you make mission etc.
The addon contains both Recon and Assault units, the main difference between the two at the moment is the amount of gear they are carrying but in the future i might remove the Body Armour on the recon units. The units are mainly based off pictures (from 2004 onwards i think) of the SAS in Iraq.
-There are 6 Assault Units and 6 Recon. -The Blood works on all the units. -Added RAV (i think thats the name of it) Body Armour. -Helmets based on some of the pictures of UKSF in Iraq.
There is also a Recon unit with an AK74 for "behind enemy lines for ten weeks in a row" missions. Was going to make the AK74 but haven't had the time to make one how i wanted so have stuck with the normal one for now.
Razani is a 10 km x 10 km map based on an area in North Waziristan in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan. The area is currently controlled by the Taliban and has numerous Al-Qaeda training camps. Razani is on the main highway between North Warziristan's two largest towns - Miranshah and Razmak. Please read the enclosed README file for important information. Not just the usual legal stuff, but facts you will find useful. If you do not read the README, it will be obvious when you ask questions or make comments.
This is a work-in-progress - a "snapshot" of where I am at right now - and is missing 95% of the structures which will be on the map when it is complete. So understand this clearly - THERE IS ONLY ONE SMALL VILLAGE ON THE MAP at this time (there will a lot more in future updates).
If you cannot deal with a map that is not 100% complete or is missing these features, PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FILE. There is no point in wasting your time, getting frustrated and using some hosting sites bandwidth for something you will not enjoy. :) I have received positive feedback about this map from users regarding its use on mid-range computer systems, despite the fact it contains over 1,745,000 objects. As always, the key factor is setting the maximum view distance.
Note : If you don't have Queen's Gambit installed, you'll lose half the grass clutter, one rock type and one bush type.
coldfuse released an updated version (fixed headlights) of his Police Suburbans on ArmAholic.com. This is a 2002 suburban, the mods are nearly complete and have fully functional multiplayer compatible lights.
This mod is released open source and free to edit and better with the following stipulations: - if you intend on releasing it you must leave it unbinarized or encrypted and open to the public to edit. - You must keep all the orginal credits for there work done. - The textures, model, and anything that comes with the model must not be converted to any other game and/or engine - the The model/addon is released free of charge - must not be used in a mod other then citylife with out written consent.
Southy has released an updated Beta v2.0 Eurofighter Typhoon addon on the BI Forums.
Well here we go, this might not be popular with a few people, but I've put all the skins in. Once people have had a play about with them they can decide which ones should really be deleted etc.

Deadfast released a first version of his Action Menu Editor utility in the BIS Forums. Action Menu Editor is an editor for ArmA's action menu. With a simple graphic user interface (GUI) it should appeal especially to those with lesser technical skills. The editor allows you to select which of the most common actions (those with a hotkey assignment possibility) will appear in the menu and which will not. For those aspiring for bigger possibilities a manual edit of the config file itself will give you control over virtually all actions menu entries that ArmA offers.

itim_tuko from the CZM Mod informed us that they have released the CZM Enemies pack a while ago. The next CZM release. The enemy pack contains 4 different kind of enemies: - The MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front) - The NPA (New Peoples Army) - Rebelious Soldiers - The Sword Bearers (Muslim Terrorists)
Maatz released his Hesco Barrier Source Files in the BIS Forums WIP topic. The archive includes the *.p3d and config files but also the pbo.
I was working on some HESCO barrier stuff last year about this time and got too busy with RL and sorting out other stuff since then, so I had no time at all for ArmA Addon making or those HESCO barriers, so i wanted to release the work I have done, for you, the great ArmA community. maybe someone of you great guys finds some spare time and interest in this stuff. I know, they are far from finished and despites that I am not that great addon maker like you guys. It was my first attempt in releasing an addon, but now it's up to you! Feel free to edit, rework or change this stuff and get it going if you guys want to!
