The Hellenic Warfare Mod finally released their HWM Addon Pack 4.0 on their site. This new pack features the AH64A in 3 different versions, in Greek, Us and RACS! This pack also includes a selection of Markers that can be very useful for the mission makers, and 4 missions.
If you don't have the HWM version 3.0 already installed you can get the 2 separate needed files from the HWM website download section.
This pack also includes a selection of Markers that can be very useful for the mission makers. Also as we've promissed we've made all the Air vehicles (AH64A/UH1H) compatible with XEH. We've also created a special pbo installation structure that can be more flexible as far as the modfolders (refer to the manual for more installation information).
This pack was the hard effort from a combination of people, except for us the core team (Aplion, Mainframe, Liongreek, Sparky, AnzacSASSteve)in this pack Dr Eyeball got involved in order to create the amazing MFD/TADS/FLIR/IHADSS system and bring our AH64A closer to the real thing. Also for the first time in this pack people can sample sounds from our Sound Engineer AnzcsasSteve in his first debut in HWM. All weapon and Air Vehicle sounds have been replaced with new ones. Another very important thing that we present in this pack, is the Mission Pack. In all the previous packs we had a gap into missions and although we can produce addons we have problems in mission making, due to limited men power. That mission pack is the result of the hard work of Contributors in our Mod. So we like to give our thanks to Wolfrug, Mathias Eichinger and UH60MG. We also like to thanks OFPEC for supporting our effort into this task. You can find more information about missions in the manual located inside the folder "missions" of the .7z

I3lueVein released 2 civilian addons at Armaholic.com.
CAF Civs: This addon adds 20 Civilian units to ARMA under the Independent class CAFCIVS. I was bored and wanted to make some different civilians, all have something different, bigger chin, ears or belly so they don't all look the same.
CL Civs: Originally made for the City Life Mod, a new system is being made where you can make your player at the start so I will release these for public use. This adds 20 more Civilian class civilian's to ARMA under Civilian CLCIVS.

Messiah informed us that the UKF Mod released some new addons (UKF Jackal MWMIK and Misc pack) over at the BIS Forums.
We once told the ArmA community that waiting for release dates from ourselves could be a fruitless task, and that a wiser course of thinking would be to expect nothing, and be surprised when one of our addons makes the light of day.
As many of you know we've always prided ourselves in creating addons that are realistic down to the smallest detail and functionality, as well as wanting to test, break and rebuild these addons countless times with help from our beta testers, VOLCBAT. Our commercial work has increased this desire ten fold, but it also meant that during 2008 we worked ourselves beyond our normal levels, and have since felt a little more than lethargic towards converting the content we created.
What may begin as a small trickle can become a river in time. Whilst we won't (again) be promising any sort of release schedule on the rest of our addons, we can at least begin to release those that we feel are at a level where they're ready for the general ArmA community.
And so, today, we're very happy (well, Messiah can be described as ecstatic for finally finishing something under two years) to present to you the UKF SUPACAT Jackal MWMIK.

Beton has released an updated Omaha Beach beta 1.1 map on the BI Forums.
... according to requests from Tomolyons i made a second edition of the Omahabeach map called Bet_Omaha_ht for high tide. For the next days i plan to work on this map and afterwards bring the objects over to the Low water map. So for the future there will be two maps to play on. Meanwhile i fixed the error with the strange sound like walking on wood. Clutter seems to work on most parts of the map. And some new objects and buildings and retextured Bis-buildings have been added. Airports will be added soon... AI paths still dont work on objects...why? I still have issues writing a proper config for my objects as im a real noob when it comes to scripting. If there is anyone who can give me a kind of a sampleconfig with explanations in it which is understandable for noobs i would be really happy. If any missionmakers out there have suggestions of things or changes needed.. just tell me
Note : Needed Beton Omaha Beach Objects beta 1.1 Addon to be downloaded with direct link. Beton's Omaha Beach Objects in addon section will be updated as soon as Omaha Beach Low Tide is updated.
