Wipman upated his M4A1's Pack to version 1.5 and released it on our forums. Sadly the replacement pack can't be added to this release due to that when the M4GL is replaced by the wip_m4a1ironm203, the M4GL keeps using the BIS ACOG sight when you hit MB2, so i haven't added it due to that; i haven't added the units that i wanted to add due to unspected changes in theyr config, so... we gonna still have to add an ammo box in the editor to try out the new weapons.
Have fun and thank I0n0s for this last update, he's who made it work. Let's C ya
Edit:I0n0s released a replacement config for this addon. Important : USE ONLY ONE REPLACEMENT ON TIME!
Opteryx fameous for his Sakakah Al Jawf Island released his unfinished Applegate Lake Terrain source code on the BIS Forums . Anyone is free to modify and release this island as long as he credits Opteryx and that the island is not used in any ways or any form commercially. Furthermore Mr Burns from Armed-Assault.de packed the island as a .pbo, download it below.
Started a terrain about a week ago just to test some things and it didn't turn out too bad, however I never really intended to finish it so here's the source data for it.
I haven't done a lot of work on it and personally I don't think it's very suited for good gameplay, but I didn't really want to ditch it either so I figured maybe someone else would want to finish it.
This is the source data for a 10km sq map based a real world location in Jacksonville, Oregon US.
I am distributing this source data because I don't forsee myself completing this map. Anyone is granted to use(parts of)/mod it however they may wish and release it. All I demand is that I am credited for the source data AND THAT IT IS NOT USED IN ANY WAY OR FORM COMMERCIALLY.
Mark XIII has once again updated his HiFi Sound FX Mod over on the BI Forums! The mod changes most if not all of the default ArmA sounds. The latest version includes 3 different variants. For more info, always read through the included readme. Hifi 1.5 Ok, this is the best elements taken from the last release of hifi, reworked, to sound better and for the rest, brandspanking new sounds that i've worked long & hard to get them consistent with the other sounds for a complete combat package.
Hifi Warfare This came from an idea whilst playing on a friends server running the warfare gamemode. I decided to make some changes to 1.5 in order to make feel more infantry based. some of the changes I made where as follows: -Different (but consistent) sounds for each mode of fire, ie; semi/burst/auto for all smallarms with available firemodes. -Lots of time went into capturing R/L explosions & smallarms to make this as realistic & diverse sounding as possible whilst not forgetting this is a GAME. -Bullethits, Manhits, armourhits have also been changed to enhance the warfare gamemode. -Also included is a config which adds Combat ambience ontop of the usual ambient sound loops giving the feeling of distant combat (for low spec machines
Karaya1 released his XtraMod for ArmA v1.14 over at the BI forums.
All addons are signed now, package includes server bikey - I hope I got it right, was the first time I did that Anyways, now to the addon related changes:
They are mostly fine-tunings of the previous ones, the Vikhr missiles for example now have their real life maneuvrability and should show some (what) realistic snaking movements (no spiralling though). Weapons values have been adjusted, the AI should open fire with long ranged weapons (Hellfire, Mavs, Kh-29,...) earlier now. I've also implemented realistic reloadtimes, based on what I could find in publications, on websites, wiki,... for example:
Hi, I made a simple addon which creates cartridges that stay where they belong. This Addon creates automatically a cartridge of the right type for all ArmA weapons and the following Mods/Weaponpacks: -6thSense Mod/Weaponpack -RHS -RH Pistolpack/AK-Pack -HWM -PedagneMOD -RER_XM109 -ChechenyaMod -ADO Armes -Vilas' Weaponpack -Frenchpoint -Turkish Forces
Handgrenades will leave a pin on the ground. Grenadelaunchers will leave a 40mm cartridge.
All other "unsupported" firearms will throw out a 556x45mm cartridge.
gT.SWAT-guy has released his Delta Force addon on the BI forums. This addon comes up with US Delta Force SF operators in desert and woodland camouflage.

Sigma-6 has send us a standalone goodie to be used together with the latest Vehicles pack. This addon adds an Interstate 76 version of the 70 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda' to Armed Assault. For further details check out the included readme.txt.
Like the 'Picard Piranha' from Interstate '76, driven by 'Groove Champion', this interpretation of that iconic video game vehicle is based on a '70 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda. It's armed with a gatling gun and a FFAR rocket-pod, both forward-firing.
Thanks and greets go out to - Gnat - Colonel Klink - Parvus
The talented addon maker Sigma-6 has send us his revised Vehicles Pack which includes several cars mostly from the 60's and 70's. A big thank you goes out to Gnat without whom this improved pack would not have been possible at all ! For more screenshots of these cars please head over to the dedicated BIS Forum Topic.
This is not a beta, it's a full release as version 1.0
This replaces every vehicle I've released, except the Isolda ship. Barracudas included. A whole new range of vehicles added. Barracudas have undercarriages, engines, suspension components, improved interiors, side mirrors, hoods can be popped open (have a look under the hood!) Sounds improved for some cars.

Here is a list of the included vehicles (Click on Spoiler)::

Hood can be opened. - A 1971 Plymouth Hemicuda. Hood can be opened. - A 2008 Dodge Challenger Concept. - My family's 1989 Honda Civic Hatchback, the real version of which is sitting in my sister's garage in Ottawa. - Cooter's Tow Truck from the Dukes of Hazzard! This is a kind of cartoonified tow truck, done up as a 1977 Ford F-250. - A 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda. This is the street version of what AAR went to the track with. Hood can be opened. - A 'brown cow' 1977 Plymouth Fury, for when you need a generic car. - A 1970 Plymouth Hemicuda. Hood can be opened. - The old Mack R Model. Updated again. - 1968 Dodge Monaco. - A vintage farm truck. - A version of the farm truck with a troop bed in the back--uses BIS public release components. - My old 1965 GMC Fleetside from OFP. - A 1977 Ford F-250 Pickup. - A 1969 Road Runner in yellow. Hood can be opened. - A 1969 Road Runner in green. Hood can be opened. - Sherrif Rosco P. Coltrane's Squad car from the Dukes of Hazzard! This and the Charger R/T have both hoods that can be opened and light covers that are able to be opened at night.
This addon is packed with 7-zip, a packer tool similar to Winrar. You can get it from HERE, but the files can also be extracted with Winrar.
Salvatore_Lee asked me to rerelease these mercenary units I made some time ago. The female mercs that are also included, are just placeholders for some new ones I'm working on...
Karaya1 released his XtraMod for ArmA v1.14 over at the BI forums.
This mod includes a multitude of small and bigger changes as well as some new units based on the stock arsenal. It is oriented towards realism in a way that it corrects some weapons and ammunitions to more realistic values without breaking gameplay.
Changes : - More refined tracking systems for the SAM Vehicles, now they really engage at out to 4.2-4.8km range! - I've also fiddled around with the Heavy Grenadier and his 6G30 grenade launcher. Now you can actually use the iron sight to aim instead of shooting "out of the hip"! - Helicopter armored glass is a tad more resistant to bullets, there should be less long range pilot killing snipe shots - Several small bits here and there which are rather subtle to notice... - Changed the terms of use slightly
Yeb has released an update of his Realistic Designation addon on the BI Forums. This little add-on replaces almost all single weapon and vehicle names of the games from weapons to vehicles through missiles. It will only replace display names and does not replace weapon classnames, hence it won’t affect missions design and addweapon/removeweapon commands.
