  Pedagne Mod News Screenshots    
Arremba San Zorzo from the Pedagne Mod is going on with his hard work updating and editing new vehicles and sent us 6 images showing Pedagne Mod vehicles.

We can see some screenshots of the MMI and EI (Naval air arm and the Army) of some choppers (AB212, AB412, AW129, NH90) as well as some VM90 in various versions (Iveco VM90 have been the standard Light Tactical Vehicle of italian armed forces until it has been replace by the Iveco LMV Lince).

Arremba is hard working and had to delay the release of the pack because of some config problems.

They are still looking for a dedicated person who can give us a useful hand with this issue.

  US Firefighter truck Screenshots    
Not only mauf is working on some firefighter vehicles for ArmA, Boss also posted 3 screenshots of his american fire truck on our Forums.

I was working on the textures to an american fire truck here is a couple of pics.
This fire truck was originally made for ofp converted to arma me and sniper recon, also got the permission to do this fist, and has yet to be released for public use.

  Invasion 1944 Sd.Kfz. 2 WIP shots Screenshots    


The Invasion 1944 Team has informed us that they have released 3 more screenshots of their modding progress on the Invasion 1944 Mod website.

The Sd.Kfz. 2, better known as the Kleines Kettenkraftrad started its life as a light tractor for airborne troops to tow recoilless guns and light anti-tank guns, and to transport ammunition.
It had its advantage as being a tracked vehicle climbing up to 45° in sand and even more in hard ground. Most Kettenkrads saw service on the Eastern Front, but also used in Europe.

  SARMAT Studios Ensk Island WIP screenshots Screenshots    
Zenger from the SARMAT studio has released some infos and screenshots from their upcoming Ensk Island on the arma.at.ua web site

We are glad to inform you on the island Ensk in which we model towns and villages based on the type of СНГ : At this point, the island is:
- One great city
- Several small villages scattered throughout the island
- Marsh
- Lake and River
- River terminals and jetties
- A large port on a part-industrial.

  Camp Lejeune Map released Screenshots    
blacKKnight63 has released another map on our forums. The new map, called Camp Lejeune is based on a real town used for urban assault training out in the boondocks of Camp Lejeune NC.

I have now released my Camp Lejeune Combat Town Map. It is a 1kmx1km Map, High Detail, High Res Satellite Imagery (1m/px). The map was designed more for training and practicing scenarios.

Been in the works for about 2 months, had problems with getting Data etc. I used a 3m DEM of the Area along with a DigitalGlobe 1m/px Imagery File from the Net.

  Uluru Map update Screenshots    
TankCommander posted 2 new images of his upcoming Uluru Map on our Forums.

Just want to post some WIP pics of the first map I'm doing for Arma. This is a second version which has a larger scale (6x6km) to include a small town and also a higher resolution sat map.
Found that the Mask map changes the look of the satellite dramatically depending on what detail texture it's representing. Can anyone explain this to me? It really bothers me that a lot of work can be put into the satmap, only to have the maskmap change the overall look =\

These pictures show the version which hasn't had the satmap perverted by the mask yet...

  British paras, 2 more screenshots Screenshots    
stubblehopper has sent us two more screenshots, showing some British Para Units.

Been re-texturing and re-modelling the British paras lately, should be released in a week or so, maybe as an update or perhaps part of Rip31st Normandy mod, they will include a new round top ww2 parachute with drop container and some collapsed parachute models, and an airborne jeep armed with bren guns, which you'll see in action in a short video trailer at some point. The parachute will also be good to go with the Fallschirmjager models included in the updated Vilas ww2 pack.

  Kulima island WIP footage Screenshots    
Acutres has has sent us 4 screenshots of his Kulima island he just started.

The north is hilly, with many forests. In the central part there is a larger lake and the southern part of the island is covered by desert. The island is 37km² big and ~85% finished

In few days I will have my own T80BV basing on BIS T72 and my T72 Era.
it is very early, maybe 2 hours of work, but as i will do textures and normals, it will look different
now it shows copy-paste BIS textures.

  MBDA Spada Air Defence System WIP Screenshots    
GodHammer is working on bringing the MBDA Spada Air Defence System to ArmA and posted 1 more WIP shot in the BIS Forums.

Something I was really missing in my Missions Editor was a good air defence system, expecially near vital assets, airports and parked ground or air vehicles' zones.
That's why I decided to build up the Skyguard+Spada system, hopefully it will work fine in few weeks.
I'm going to release it as a standalone addon, maybe add a couple of camouflage skins for desert and all terrain operations, later. I'm not going to keep in in my workbench forever.
Textures and model were built thinking about incoming ARMA2,
you will pardon me if the file may be a little bigger than my usual models, in the end.
I'm searching for some good references for the joint that makes the launcher aim to the sky, was not able to find anything clear at the moment.

I seriously need help with scripts-effects:
-guidance
- new sounds for the Aspide missile and launcher
- a script for proximity warheads explosions
- smoke trail
- animations
I would apreciate any serious help from the community

  Uluru Central Australia Map Screenshots    
TankCommander has started working on a Central Australian Map based around the fameous Uluru (Ayers Rock) national park, and released 4 images in the BI Forums WIP Topic.

Trying out the whole map making gig. This is a map of Uluru in central Australia and should be around 5x5km.

Went through and refined some stuff. Still some of the sat map needs to be altered around the rock but I'm happy so far with it. Height map has also been finished just about. May add some small elevations around for a bit of variety but that's it.
