NSXr from the Cold War Rearmed Mod has sent us some new WIP screenshots of the mod. The screenshots show the Resistance soldier models and the good old Kolguyev island.
Schmalfelden is a map based on actual terrain in Germany, created using a military 1:50,000 scale topographic map and a Google Earth image of the area. I selected this area for recreating realistic engagements in a European environment which might typically described as "good tank country", terrain which Soviet Forces would have sought to exploit with their tank and mechanized infantry forces had the Cold War ever gone "hot". ... V.82 4 May 2008 1. Further improvements on satellite map. 2. Eliminated another 30,000 trees. Frame rate continues to improve. 3. Fixed several more ugly intersections. 4. Objects added: Additional road reflector posts, road signs, street lights in 2 towns so far, miscellaneous objects. 5. More building height problems addressed.
william1 has released a signed version of his standalone Flares countermeasure system addon on the BI Forums.
Franze kindly has given me permission to release a standalone addon that enables Flare countermeasures to all choppers and planes in the game.( all BIS choppers/planes - except Camels and DC3- and custom addons XEH compatibles, remember , if you are not XEH compatible, you are toasted, that's the motto). The flare system is extracted directly from Franze's great F-18 planes so it's all Franze's work. Extended eventhandlers by Solus and Killswitch is needed.
new 1.21 signed version : This version features full signed items. Key released in a Key folder for MP use.
Solomani from the Chain of Command Team has released a O/A-10A addon on the BI Forums.
This is an enhanced version of the BI A10. It is hoped that the A-10A CAS will enhance gameplay by providing direct support to ground units. Other improvements stem from the author's desire to increase realism and game immersion.
Features: A-10A CAS: 2 LAU-130/A 19 Round rocket lanucher (imported from AH-1Z) 10 Mk82 with Mk82 triple rail Ripple counts 1, 2, and 4 (.01 sec delay) OA-10A FAC: 4 LAU-131 7 Round FFAR - armed with WP smoke rockets Common launcher rails removed
Frostman from the StargateGate Mod has announced a screenshots competition on their Forums.
The next version of the gates is ready for beta testing, so I've decided to open up a competition. Heres the rules, its a screenshot competition:
* You can enter as many images as you like and the screenshots have to be stargate related. * The top 5 users will receive the StarGate RC1 addon for testing (including StarGates, Rings, SG Units and SG UI). * Once one entry has been chosen all others from the user will be disregarded. * Sign your entries somehow (watermark, signature, etc)
The images must be posted on the stargateassault.net gallery which can be found here (you will be required to join the forums before you can upload). Heres a few links to help you:
Jojimbo of the [Invasion 1944] mod has posted new screenshots of the progress they're making on their US and German units for the D-Day project. Seen here are the new German combat officer and US medic models.

Franze has released an updated, 0.45, version of his F/A-18E/F Super Hornet beta addon on the BI Forums. F/A 18 E/F is also available in low vis scheme in Squadron 2, here in 1.1 version.
Beta 0.45 - Modified wreck scripting: aircraft no longer deleted. Deleting aircraft caused performance issues. - Added switches for wreck script control: fz_f18_nowreck and fz_f18_nowrecksmoke - Added basic static aircraft types for scenery objects. These are just aircraft with all scripts replaced by a simple one with basic parameters set. Still classed as aircraft, so will explode when destroyed. Wings can be folded in the same method as with the standard versions. - Modified Mk80 drop mode text to display which mode has been selected. - More bug fixes.
