Sparky from the Hellenic Warfare Mod has updated his website with new screenshots and information about their Mercedes Benz 240GD.
Our 2nd addon pack is almost ready. We're closing the pack with the Mercedes Benz 240GD, patrol version with an mg3 mounted. This addon has a lot of animated parts (driver door, codriver door, cargo door, windshield, and back wheel). Also we have create 2 new proxy types (driver,gunner) along with the appropriate death proxies.

James Gastovski has again posted some news on his blog, in fact he had found a Cold War Rearmed Demo DVD in a shop and kindly posted a picture of the cover.

Having a bit of time on my hands over the Christmas break, I set out to search for a special gift for myself, the type of gift that would consume some of that much needed R&R time. I started looking over some books, I got that warm feeling, there is nothing like sitting down with some cognac a fine book and a crackling fire. Having procrastinated for quite a while on which book I might enjoy I headed on over to the discount bin, I always like to rescue old forgotten books and to my surprise I found a demo copy of Cold War Rearmed!
I was stunned as I glanced over the box cover and thought to myself this is just what I need for the holidays!

Mandoble has informed the community about the release of OFPEC ILS on OFPEC web site.
Scripted and addonless Instrument Landing System for ArmA planes and helicopters.
Select any available airfield from the airfield selector and the ILS will guide you through the landing path until final touch-down.

The Iraq Modern War Mod has sent us a few WIP shots of their upcoming addons. You can watch even more screenshots on their website.
First off, I would like to talk a little about our missions so far
This mod is not all about extreme action. You need to pick your shots well.
We focus on the preservation of life so you will have reprucutions for
shooting civilians. That is one thing we are working on. There are 2 maps
in the making. We can't go into much detail at the time but Opteryx has
been working really hard on one of them. And reblman has been working on
the second.
Okay we would also like to put out a personal thanks to everyone that has
supported us without you guys we would not have the drive we do..! Also, a
huge thanks to all our team members.

Rico of the Australian Defence Forces Modification has sent us some nice looking screenshots and new information about the mod's latest work for ArmA.
G'day,
ADF Mod's Christmas presents are almost ready!
We are working hard on our units to get our core pack ready for release on Christmas day. Here are some WIP pics to drool over while you wait :)
The content CONFIRMED to be in the core pack:
- ADF Infantry (Solder/SFTG/TAG)
- ADF Weapon pack (F-88's/F-89/SR-98/Browning pistol)
- ADF Landrovers
- ADF S-70A's
The content that will MAYBE in the core pack:
- ADF ASLAV
- ADF M1A1 (AIM) Abrams
- ADF MRH-90 (This is 99% done, the only issue is that the rotors wobble a bit)
- ADF ARH-Tiger (Some Geomentry issues)
I think that covers it, if anyone wants to help get the maybe stuff into the confirmed list, please contact me asap.

Alex Sworn is working on a new La Samula island and has posted WIP screenshots on his webpage. It's looks amazingly good and is announced as a superb Christmas present. Furthermore ALex told us that the island is NOT beeing made by using Visitor3.
The island of La Samula is a new island. This island is not made with the BI tool Visitor3. I think I can publish it in the next few days.
Lots of self made addons will be added to the island (like barracks, a few industrial complexes, a water reservoir with attached hydroelectric power plant, bunkers, and rocket silo's...plus a few more gadgets.)

HeinBloed has released an update of his GDTModGrenadier addon on the BI Forums.
This Addon changes:
- Sight for under barrel grenadelanchers. Calibrated from 50 to 300 meters.
- HE and flare grenades replaced by 5rnd grenade pounch (2 Slots).
- Grenadiers equipped with 8 magazines, 4 handgrenades and 4 5rnd grenade pounches.
- Leaf sight from M16A2 GL and M16A4 GL turned down.

Khayes over on the BI Forums has uncovered some work in progress screenshots from the Battle Over Hokkaido mod. This famous OFP mod appears to be making the move to ArmA.
Please however bear in mind that the news was posted on their site roughly 4 months ago (July 19th, 2007) with no further word - The mod could be dead for all we know.
