i don't mind if BIS have to release fixes for the game once it is released and i thank them for that, but releasing a fix before the game is out is a disrespect for the customer, no matter how you want to make it up or what the policy of the publisher is, that's unacceptable in any way.

Come on people, does this really suprise you..have you not been reading any of my post? Are you not prepared for BI to let you down again?..Want to avoid that let down? Go check out some screen shots of ofp2 :) watch some vids on youtube.. You'll feel much better about yourselves then.
@ Insurgency.. Im sorry to tell you bro, but they have already made it plainly clear with interviews and press releases that the main concentration on Arma II was on the graphics of the game and not the game play, so much so they decided that it would be better to make the maps smaller so they could add more "detail"... I think they are failing to see the only detail we want is more flesh!..Who gives a shit about the flowers on the ground or the grass blowing in the wind, if they want us to see more detail, show me a soldiers arm being blown off, or the half headed jihadi I just took down.. Come on guys, you have a community who is speaking here.. BI is turning into another SOE, they could give a shit less about the community, so long as they make money off us, who gives a shit what we want..Save your money, ofp2 is no let down.
@Jynx.. Publishers and developers do nothing without the consent of one another. Plain and simple, if the games not ready, don't release it. Its obvious whats going on here, and its been obvious since the release of Arma; if thats what you call it..I prefer to call it the OFP update they never should have charged me or anyone else for..

Ah..look..this ArmA II thing better be damn good, i dont care about their graphics, i care about the damn game play. I JUST GOT DONE PLAYING ARMA I , and those AI are dumb AS SHIT!! THEY BETTER PUT SOME GOOD BRAINS IN THE AI OF ARMA II or otherwise i am going back to playing OFP where the real fun is!! To hell with graphics! Whats the point of good graphics, when you come 2 ft. behind AI and they still do NOT notice you? STUPID!
These bastards just want money looks like it... I say best thing is to wait for OFP II.

Folk, while I understand that BI having the foresight and consideration to start preparing patches for bugs they haven't been able to fix in time for the publisher's deadline for a final copy is just a massive inconvenience to you and blatant proof they have no consideration for their fans*.
Can we have a little less cursing a swearing please?**
Frankly this is most likely the result of, as colossus has said, the release date being pushed forward by the publisher and should not reflect to much, if at all on BI.
*remarkable they can be called that considering how much they complain about the company and thier products...

That's quite alot of fixes. Personally I think having the game released this early was a total f*** up by the publisher. They should have waited as long as 505 did.
But deadline is deadline, nothing BI can do with that.
