"ARMA II is scheduled for an in store Date of July 7th, 2009."
It mean you will get the boxed version in July, but of course you can get it before by on-line distributors.

That is weird, I am Ontario Canada and I already own a 100% legal copy of the game. There are a couple of different places you can download it from legally, i.e. online distribution

This pisses me off. First, BI's release dates are backwards. Why not release it worldwide on the same day? All the other big publishing companies do that. Now they finally find a distributor 4 days before the North American launch! You'd think BI would have worked this out earlier this month or last. Fuck you BI!

It was supposedly going to be released in North America towards the end of June, but I think I see the problem. BIS couldn't get a publisher until the 11th hour. Maybe deals fell through, maybe they had trouble finding one at all (at least it won't be Atari again). It seems their demo will arrive (if at all) around the same time as their release here. Anyone get the feeling that BIS is a tiny little place with about 6 people that spend their lives trying to do the work of 20? Happened at Auran in Australia, too... not good. Probably get the first patch version, though, which means one less download, so that's okay.
