I managed to get it installed. via Quick Start guide
One note about Ace so far, i have the German version of Arma2 with English patch installed, some of the Ace ingame menus are in german (not sure what default eng Arma2 version shows). I hope this can be sorted for users like myself if this is because im using the german version.

??? I don't known how that will work in ArmA2 no ACE Mod only some files??
The ACEX kompreesed files are not O.Kthey are corrupted.
Has anyone an answer?

@all : as said in my updated new, I have cancelled the ACEX link after having seen there is a big discrepancy between the file I have downloaded from DevHeaven and the file found on other sources. That file wasn't OK, so I am reloading the whole stuff again at snail speed due to the heavy traffic ...
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Afterward I will try to get a mod file version ...

Yeah same as Jackal Acex seems corrupted, cant be recognised as an archive when tryn to unzip.

Not only what luky.m said, but the AceX file seems currupted for me. Not sure if its a hosting issue or just when I download it.
