Thanks :) , yep I know Mount&Blade and I love it (I'm in the beta for Warband, too), but to mod for Mount and Blade I would learn how to mod for it (which would take alot of time) and sort of "run with the hare and hunt with the hounds" as I would also still be modding for ArmA.
About melee mods, OFP had working lightsabre battles, aliens, tiger attacks, I think with effort you can reach much.
The scripting-attacking side isn't one of my qualities, so I would seek help when the units are polished up.

But dont know if ARMA2 is the best game for a melee mod :)
If you not all ready know it, then look at Mount and Blade :)
