Peloton from the FFAA Mod has released a new set of addons featuring the new FFAA Eurofighters v1.0 as well as updated version of FFAA Tigre, FFAA Cougar and FFAA CH47 on the BI Forums.
Tobe from Swedish Army Mod(SAM) has informed us about the release of a Hotfix for their last Swedish Army Mod (SAM) v Beta 1.1 release.
Because of a fault by us in the SAM-team to forget the LOD-textures for the soldier-models, we decided to fix this with a hotfix for our previously released version. We also threw in a few other minor fixes while we were at it. Here's a complete change-list:
-Fixed LOD-textures for all soldier-models. -Fixed misspelled AK5c_grk to AK5c_grt (!INCLUDING CLASSNAME! See readme.) -Changed all AI-names that included swedish letters that are not available ingame. -Adjusted all sights in front of Aimpoint on AK5c to as it was on the grenade-launcher version. -Another try to completely get rid of the orange reflecting effect on protective glasses on helmets.
Our previous version 1.1 must be installed first, and then you simply copy and replace with these new files.
arremba san zorzo from the Pedagne Mod has informed us about the release of a YouTube video featuring upcoming Pedagne Mod vehicles and units.
This first video is made by great Nembo and is focalized expecially on soldiers units. The video is long 8min and I suggest to see it directly on you tube site in 1080HD resolution.
Video Start with the presentation of some regiments and brigades with musical hymns for each units. After, start a panoramic scenes with some desert units in a camp of Duala. Here, the music is by a famous italian rock group. The units showed are: - Brigata Garibaldi with Bersglieri assault infantry troops (replaced in Afganisthan now) - Brigata Taurinense with Alpini mountains infantry troops - Brigata Folgore with Par脿 infantry troops - Reggimento San Marco with amphibious infantry troops. The vehicles showed are: - Aris-Gator amphibious, that is a VCC2 with an amphibiuos kit. VCC2 is an italian Oto Melara versio of M113. - AAV7 (only retextured based on M15YO textures on the original BIS model) - AB412 (remodelled starting by the model of FFAA) - NH90 in Navy, Army and Special Operations versions (remodeled starting by the model of AfroGraphix) - Land Rover 4x4 in Army and Carabinieri versions, this are only two of the model available in the mod (remodelled starting by the original BIS model) - VM90 4x4 in Army and Air Force version. Expecially you can see the Ambulance of Air Force with opened doors. This are only of the model available in the mod. - VTML Lince in Army version. Expecially you can see the Ambulance with opened doors and the patrol car with M2 turret (remodelled starting by the model of FFAA) - ACM90 4x4 truck. - ACTL 4x4 and 6x6 repair (remodelled starting by the model of FFAA) - A129 Mangusta that you can see in maintenace action - C27-J Spartan aereo cargo (imported and adapted by the the model of Dedalo) - C130-J (only retextured of the BIS original model)

Jackal326 has released an updated SJB SAS Pack v1.04 addon by Jackal326 and SafetyCatch on the BI Forums.
Changelog :PUBLIC RELEASE V1.04 (10/04/2010): - Added MP units config. This basically removes all headgear from the units, allowing for custom glasses-type headgear to be used, a few are included in a seperate PBO. - Tweaked ACE config, adding support for the new AI talk module (units _should_ talk in English rather than in Russian/not at all). - Adjusted camo ratings for some patrol units. - The SFSG Units now use MTP camo instead of Multicam (the SAS/SBS still retain what Multicam they previously had).

Massi has released a replacement files for both his US Army Rangers and Special Forces units on our Forums.
These replacements change standard USMC units and Force Recon models with the ones present in my US Army Rangers and US Army Special Forces (both REQUIRED) packs.
I've done these replacements on request , and I've decided to use both my US units in order improve a little the variety, and give the feeling to have US Rangers units supporting and operating with US Special forces.
You'll find 4 different replacements files, all with their own signature, just choose the camo of your preference and use it.
Clayman updated his Animation Viewer (v 1.2) and released the newest version on the BI-Forums.
Highlights:
* The Viewer can now be added to any mission and used from there. * You can save as many animations to a second listbox, and then copy all of them to clipboard. * Animal animations now included.
Przemek_kondor released his ppEffects viewer (v 1.0) on the BI-Forums. A small mission which can help you find nice (or ugly) filters you can use in your mission, FLIR scripts and for other purposes.
VictorFarbau has released an updated VFAI - AI Extension build 019 for ARMA II on the BI Forums.
VFAI consists of 2 independent addons
1. VFAI_Equipment enables units to independently equip themselves with weapons and ammo from dead bodys. Further information and details included in the readme file. I advise you to read the readme file - it might explain some behaviour you wonder about. Installation: read the readme file (it is easy).
2. VFAI_Smokeshell will cause units to throw smokeshells whenever they're hit. They will try to throw smoke into the direction of the gunner to block his view. More details in the included readme file. Installation: read the readme file (it is easy). All units will then be equipped with 1 smokeshell and will know when to use it. ... These addons require "Extended_EventHandlers" of the CBA Project.

Homer Johnston has released a YouTube video showing his Road Painter tool at work on the BI Forums.
-This tool is intended to aid the process of road creation in Visitor. It allows you to easily "paint" long sections of road in between key-parts from within the ArmA mission editor. You can then generate a text file to import into a Visitor road-network. -The tool is not intended to handle key-parts. Terminators, T's and Crossroads must be placed using Visitor.
