IkåR from the HEXAgon team has released an unexpected new hexa_tracked 1.1 addon on the CFr-ArmA forums. The 4 packs previously released by HEXAgon are needed.
Here is the second public release from HEXAgon, coming in earlier than scheduled.
Now, it's the tracked pack, also in 1.1version, it features only one addon : the Leclerc tank.
Of course, it will have been more logical to release a transportation vehicle for our troops but, from our point of view, this addon was ready to be released.
Of course, we know there are modelling errors on it, but for us it doesn't matter. Perhaps, it will be updated later. This addon is already 3 years old, at last it was the time to release it.
Southy released a new beta version v1.5 of OFP IkaR's F14 aircraft, on the BI Forums.
Included a new version called 'F14 US Navy Legacy(CAP)' this version alows the user to select a squadron from the ID folder, a sample of which is included in the addon, the real version is also in the PBO the folder in the rar file is for reference only.
Select the above F14 and put this into the init line to change textures:

The squadrons range from 100 through to 116 refer to page 7 for a preview of the squadrons available.
the Legacy version unit name is IkaR_F14_AIM_54L
Please note the skins for the legacy bersions are the original OFP skins, this is very much a WIP version, this version has a shadow bug, if it bothers you turn shadows off whilst flying.
This version has the following fixes
* 'No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgFactionClasses.USAF' Fixed CFG error * No engine sound in cockpit Fixed thanx to Anzac Steve * When turning head back as pilot, wings and body are white. (USNavy versions) Fixed * As gunner, you see the HUD from the pilot. pending/not sure of fix * Some LOD seem to have no texture, from far it turned all White, then closer the texture appeared (seem to be USN version to). Fixed * Missiles seem to spawn above the plane when firing. so makes a missile and "explision" appear above the plane for a brief second. Weapons scripted/expect proper fix as addon moves to arma2 proxies * If im not mistaken the rearwing should work as aileron and elev.? still checking, if anyone has information please advise
Other personal things.
* Would like to see the guns for the pilot, and maybe hydras. considering as an option * Making the wings animate in cockpit view to, right now they seem to be swept back all the time when turning around in cockpit. Fixed * If possible, animate the landing gear doors to close after the gears, and not simultaneous pending CFG * Key files, so it can be used on servers with lock. pending future versions
Also increased the plane weight (Thanx for the advice Gnat) a fair bit and included tailerons which improve the feel of the F14 greatly.

DMarwick released a new update V0.2 of his JTD Flies addon on the BI Forums.
V0.2 update improvements:
- Sound added. - Flies now spawn around a random area centered on the center of body mass instead of the feet. - Tweaked fly size. - Tweaked fly movement.
Adds flies to dead bodies. After between 2-5 minutes, flies will begin to gather around a body, increasing in density each 15 minutes or so, up to a maximum fly density.
You can tell *very roughly* how long a body has been dead, and coupled with a suitable blood addon that simulates blood splatter (there are a few, ACE2 and SLX for example), you can perhaps work out what, where and even when something happened, in a very general and rough way :)
Also, it might allow you to find a body when you're looking for one, for example when you're out of ammo or something :)

Stubblehopper informed us that he started a new mod based on the TV series "Sharpe" and released several new WIP screenshots.
Ok I've been sat on this for a while, as I haven't had much time lately. I'd like to show you all what I've been up to. I'd like to start an Arma 2 mod based on the TV series "Sharpe". What I have so far works well up to company level skirmish, British Light Company and Rifles vs French Light Infantry.
However, I'd like to take it a stage further by adding character faces from the TV series and having a purpose built Island with no modern stuff, so any map makers out there, if you're intested I'd like your help to make a period map.
Also, horses, I really need some help getting nice looking , well modelled horses, fully annimated and ready to go for cavalry, pulling wagons, artillery ect, any help much appreciated, and finally infantry annimations, and formation adjustments could do with some help there as well. This is granQ from Swedish Forces Pack, the group that refuse to give up, after a long break we now back and ready to kick some sqf asses, make some models and as always trying to come up with something new and unique stuff.
This post will be updated with latest videos, screenshosts and so on. Comments, requests and questions will be answered as well and perhaps your questions can help us build a FAQ.

IkåR from the HEXAgon team has released 4 packs featuring Infantry French units as well as a lot of various weapons and objects on the CFr-ArmA forums. The 4 packs are needed to get playable units.
It's a great pleasure for me to annouced the release of the first HEXAgon packs for ArmA2. HEXAgon addons tend to represent, without hubris, French army units.
Therefore you will found Infantry and it's weapons in this first public release. It's a kind of basis for our further projects. At the moment, units are a bit few, we hope we can offer much more in the near future.
Jackal326 has released an updated SJB SAS Pack v1.031 addon on the BI Forums.
The SJB SAS Pack v1.031 contains Special Air Service (SAS) operators in both Patrol Kit and Assault Kit with the requisite camouflages for use in both temperate woodland and arid region environments. The pack now also includes Special Boat Service (SBS) units in generic civilian clothing, as well as Special Forces Support Group (SFSG) units in Multicam. These units are high fidelity representations of modern SAS operators circa 2006-present, using equipment sourced from photographs and information proprietary to the SJB mod team. Currently the units are equipped with BIS weaponry. Later versions of the pack will make use of the upcoming SJB Weapons Packs which will include weapons such as the L119A1 (Diemaco SFW) intended for use with the SJB SAS Pack. ... PUBLIC RELEASE V1.031 (25/02/2010): - Re-Updated textures on desert SAS and SBS units, as I previosuly overwrote the incorrect textures. Whoops! lol. - Updated SFSG Textures (these were the ones I was supposed to update before, but instead decided to overwirte the SBS Textures. Whoops again!). - Fixed Desert Patrol MG'ers missing kneepad model (previously, it was simply textured on). - Attempted to re-position and somewhat resize the bush-hats in an attempt to reduce clipping when using black faces (their head-shape is different ingame).
bakzz from the Kill'n'Destroy squad has released a Knd missions pack on the BI Forums. This pack features 27 - CTF, C&H and KOMBI - missions. KOMBI missions are an interesting mix between CTF and C&H.

Story/background:
Town of Zelenogorsk has been known to be a hive for saboteurs working with russian authorities for a long time now. However this time they managed to ambush a US convoy and get a hold of a US HQ vehicle containing a shipment of experimental G36 rifles. The ones behind the strike have been identified as Svetlana Lumenko - a very nasty shewolf from partisan section, Simon Lenton - an ex SAS man who defected to russia long time ago and is generally known to be a very unstable case. He likes to dress up as priest , just to mention one of his odd habits...
The link tower close to town is in use of spreading propaganda amongst local civilians
Your team will be deployed with choppers along the main assault force towards LZ near target. From there you will proceed to the link tower and take out the generator powering it. Once done with that objective you are free to pursue the other objectives in free order. Use the satellite to identify your targets and use artillery to take out armored targets to clear the way to main targets. Be aware that all civilians are now armed with G36 rifles so spare no-one. They deserve it anyway. Kill them all!!
Marseille77 released his next addon on the BIS-Forums today. The German Way- & Townsign Pack 1.1 as self made addon with unbinarized files to create own signs.
Massi has informed us on our Forums about the release of an updated US Army Special Forces v1.01 addon.
