SoldierX from the AAW Team has informed us about the release of WIP screenshots of the AAW infantry weapons pack on the BI Forums.

Will post up some more screen shots later.
On another note I am aware of a few people porting out old F88's in to arma2, please do not do so if we had wanted them ported we would have done so our selves. Be patient and wait for our new ones made for ArmA2.

Gnat has released an ArmA2 Submarine Pack Beta 2 addon on the BI Forums. Mando Missile ArmA2 by Mandoble needed.

- AI auto-dive when in danger
- Manual dive to 100 meters
- Command and cargo space
- Walkable hull (mostly)
- Deployable Zodiacs
- Working Missiles and Torpedoes
- 1 working compass on Bridge

  CAA1 2009-11-15 update Addon release    
kju has informed us about the release of "CAA1 2009-11-15 update" on the DevHeaven site.

Thanks to andersson AI is now able to drive on roads again.
Improved the plants.pbo with:

* Durg's (AI View) Vegetation Fix.
* Przemek kondor beautiful Autumn plants.

  JTD Ambient Civilian Traffic module by TRexian Editing    
TRexian has released a JTD Ambient Civilian Traffic module on the BI Forums.

The idea for this was born of the great work BI did on the civilian modules. With civs and vehicles in the same town, it only made sense to have them drive around. (There is a small - VERY small - chance of this when you put the ALICE and SILVIE modules in together, but it wasn't enough for me.)
So, I developed this. It relies on the ALICE module to spawn the civs and vehicles. I consider this a public release candidate. If there are no issues, I'll just update from here

  Laser Rangefinder by tcp updated Addon release    
tcp has released an updated version -v0.6- of his Laser Rangefinder addon on the BI Forums.

v06 Changelog
- Cycle between Mil measurements
- Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R forces battery changes, optionally w/o designator active
- More responsive, code rewritten
- State changes fixed, shuts off when in third person, or moving
- Display turns on with laser, and Laser turns off with display (enforces battery and overheat conditions)

  Embassy AAS 32 & 50 players by Tom Anger Mission release    

Tom Anger has released an Embassy v 1.01 AAS 32 & 50 players mission on the BI Forums.

A close quarter battle in an urban environment. Capture the Embassy, Hospital, Trainyard, and more as you attempt to push the enemy back to claim victory. Thanks to Coolbox and others for the excellent Joint Ops replica gameplay.

  co27 Fall of Czernobog by VanhA Screenshots    

VanhA has released a co27 Fall of Czernobog mission on the BI Forums.

Story/background:
Old slavic tales tell the horrors created by Czernobog (the black devil). We face no demons but flesh and blood. Town of Elektrozavodsk is a base for russian troops led by a man known to us only as Czernobog. Certainly a man not to be taken lightly.
He's guilty of local civilian massacre from which our intel has received photographic evidence. Now the time is right to put an end to the horrors. Secure the town and make the arrest.
We need him alive!

Objectives:
-1: Destroy all tunguska AA tanks.
-2: Capture the city from the enemy forces
-3: Locate and arrest Czernobog (yes, alive)

  [coop 24] BattleField2 by Zonekiller Mission release    

Zonekiller has released his [coop 24] BattleField2 mission on the BI Forums.

This is a Battlefield2 style mission and it is a 24 player coop / cti. There are 2 missions 1 for each island

You can have the same amount of fun with one or many players, The AI can do almost everything a Player can do Sometimes Better. AI will use eveything on the map, All vehicles and Weapons they will also
fill the Gunner spots and cargo spots of a vehicle whether it is used by anAI or Player. They all look after themselves and will complete the mission without any help. But its nice to have support .

  ARMA 2 update to ArmA Edit by Celery Editing    
Celery has released an ArmA2 update for the ArmA Edit tool build by Chris Henderson and not updated since ArmA2 release on the BI Forums. This update only command/classname in ArmA Edit, the briefing and unit wizard are not updated.

ArmA Edit is a wonderful scripting tool made for Armed Assault by Chris Henderson (CHSoftware) and for some reason it hasn't yet been officially upgraded for ARMA 2. That's why I'm sharing a command and classname update for the 1.3.4000 version of ArmA Edit. It will add ARMA 2 commands and replace Armed Assault weapon, magazine and vehicle classnames with ARMA 2 ones.

Known problem: The unit wizard isn't fully up to date because some of its OFP/A1 specific features are coded into the program. It does have updated loadouts however, so it's still useful if you edit the flare and selectWeapon lines manually. The briefing wizard is also obsolete because of the new script-based way of making briefings.

  Convoy creator & convoy control by DTM2801 updated Editing    
DTM2801 has released an updated -v1.6- version of his Convoy creator & convoy control script on the BI Forums. A useful item for missions makers !

  VTE ArmA 2 preview released ! Addon release    
Snake Man. has informed us about "VTE ArmA 2 preview" released by PMC.

This is the preview or demonstration version of Vietnam: The Experience for ArmA 2. It includes only few necessary items from the real full VTE. The goal of this preview is to give players a taste of things to come, when we will release the full version in the future.

Features: Ia Drang terrain, Huey, Chinook, Skyraider, AirCav, NVA and few infantry weapons.

This is first VTE release for ArmA 2.

  Co8 The base by JW Custom Mission release    

JW Custom has released an updated -v1.4- version of his Co8 The base mission on the BI Forums.

Situation:

Defend the base!

Changelog

v1.4
- complete new base design.
- added trigger so mission fail if enemy gets too close to squad leader bunker.
- players can heal themself 2 times(revive script option).
- squad leader and sniper got mortar requests now(before it was the 2 fire team leaders).
