ardvarkdb has released his Australian SASR Units v1.0 addon, ported from Armed Assault, on the BI Forums.
This was done as a test by me to see how difficult it would be to port units over from Arma 1 to Arma 2. Overall I think it turned out well. There was one really weird bug I wasn't able to figure out, but I don't think it's really noticeable.
Various operators from the Australian Special Air Service Regiment (SASR). Units based off of Jonny's U.S. Special Forces models. These units can be found under the Blufor / Ard Australian SASR in the Editor: ARD SASR DESERT & ARD SASR WOODLAND.
Signed Addon for Multiplayer (not tested) Includes 13 soldiers in light and heavy gear, totaling 26 units
Special thanks to Jonny for his excellent models and textures which I used as a base for these.
Edit 24/10 : Arma 2 SASR Units Updated to Version 1.1 My "pumpkin head" units were a little halloween gag, but the real SASR units are now uploaded.
Edit 25/10 : Arma 2 SASR Units Updated to Version 1.2
I think this is the last update for a while This update should fix about 95% of the problems people have reported with these units. From the limited testing I've done I haven't seen any of the reported issues reappear, and hopefully too many more aren't found.

Sumrak informed the community that he released a patch version 1.01 of his Namalsk Island.
Changelog and details:
Fixed - tweaked positions of some objects (based on screenshots of some little position bugs) - clutter performance issues (increased clutterGrid, ArmA II now render less count of clutter on Namalsk) - and maybe more
Added - proper railroad crossing - more entrances into Vorkuta town - and maybe more
Be aware, i can't fix terrain grid issue (on low terrain detail you see some empty triangles), it is ArmA II bug (i can do nothing for this for now), i hope, some ArmA II patch can in future fix this. Be aware also, that Namalsk (namalsk.pbo) is in version 1.01, not objects (models), which Namalsk using.
These models are still in development progress - final version will be avaible in February 2010. So.. this is patch for namalsk.pbo, that mean, that models are still same version (reason - size of pbo's ns.pbo and ns2.pbo).
Please, update your Namalsk asap, i think, this is a big advance in performance on Namalsk. You can easilly update Namalsk, missions made on this island will be still fine.
Installation: Extract files (namalsk.pbo, namalsk.pbo.NST.bisign, ns_patch.pbo, ns_patch.pbo.NST.bisign) into Nightstalkers\Addons\ folder or just into the Addons folder, where is Namalsk located.
TheSun released a new screenshot of his work in progress Bombardier Otulander MAX .
Here's something I've been working on for our Czech Army SF. It has reached 5786 faces in 7 sections so far. Except any implementation of damage system, it's prety much functional with custom anims

kherro informed us that addonmaker Peloton published new WIP pictures from a Spanish Eurofighter Typhoon, which is planned for the next FFAA MOD update.
The Eurofighter is a multi-role combat aircraft developed by Germany, Italy, Spain and Britain in co-production. In Germany, the development was initially under the name Hunter 90, the first deliveries were made under the name of the Eurofighter 2000, is the current name, the year of 2000 no longer run. In Austria and Germany, the plane bears the name of the Eurofighter, but we do.
Charon has released an ArmA2 version of his useful mission editing TroopMon utility on the BI Forums.
Description: TroopMon 2 is a GUI console for Arma2 that is designed to help mission makers to precisely monitor the combat behaviour of the placed units in their missions. Lost, inactive or ineffective combatants are easily identified to raise the quality of a mission and achieve mission objectives with a minimal troopcount. Missions with uncertainty about the location of the involved units are a thing of the past. .... Many people still know TroopMon1 from the Arma1 times. Initially i just wanted to make it compatible with Arma2, but i decided to enhance its functionality and optimize the code. It now contains tons of new helpful functions to effectively debug missions. Hope it helps you guys design your missions.
W0lle has released an Armed Civilians addon on the BI Forums.
For one of my crappy missions I needed some armed civilians and the result is this tiny addon. I've taken all the male civilians (except the Priest and Pilot) and gave them different weapons to fight. They are armed with: AKM, AKMS, AK-74, AK-74/GP-25, PKM, RPK, RPG, Strela, SVD, Saiga, M16A2 and MP5A5. Each unit has 4 magazines (the Policemen carry also an M9 with 4 Magazines). In total that adds 360 different units to your editor. You can find the units in Independent -> Civilians -> Armed Civilians.
There's been a release over at our homepage: bwmod.armedassault.info. It includes German infantry, the TPz Fuchs 1A6 as well as a few weapons and objects (flags, ammo caches)
