Herr_kalashnikov has converted the official ArmA Missionpack into ArmA 2, and uses the CAA1 addons.
Missing those old ArmA missions? Look no futher here are the original ArmA SP scenarios which are fully compatible with CAA1/OAC.

I'm working on a TrueFeeling mod which changes the way you see the world around and feel it.
For those who know TrueView, it might reminds you of it but the TrueFeeling I'm working on have different values on the FOV (Field Of View) and it also changes several combat feeling aspects such as accuracy, dispersion, which in my opinion will improve the immersion of the game and it will bring more natural and fun feeling into the Simulation.
TrueFeeling also includes several zoom weapon changes in order to look and feel more natural without the extreme ZoomIn BIS gave to the weapons. The Binoculars have the option to ZoomIn like on several real binoculars.
The M1Abrams cannon, commander etc view are in my point of view better improved, more playable and enjoyable, this means you will be able to see more, near you and far from you.
The basic weapons do not have crosshair, though you can identify the friendly units as you can see in the above pictures and of course there will remain some small useful icons for some actions.
If someone is interested in this modification please show your interest in this thread, suggest what could be changed and added to this TrueFeeling and i might open a discussion thread to better talk about this and with the objective to release it for the community.
ATTENTION: The intention of this modification is not at all to cheat, as some might think in the first place. As i said before TrueFeeling is being created/modified to bring and give a more natural feeling onto the game.
PS - TrueFeeling is in current and constant changes, suggestions are welcome in order to improve in a realistic way.

Coronel_Niel released a singleplayer mission version v1.2 called Operation Starvation.
USMC Special Forces are setting up camps with NAPA's help. Russian forces are unaware of these camps, as NAPA are some of the best at concealing these Camps.
USMC are mounting ambush's and attacks for days now and a massive push is comming to get Russian forces out of the south, and the US to setup a base of operations.

Cole release an addon wich enables the Vapor Trails v1.0 script for aircrafts, which is already in your game by default, just not activated.

This AddOn enables the vapor trails script for aircraft, which is in your game by default, just not activated. Yes, it can be done via ingame scripting too, but this AddOn is made for those who don't know how to enable it ingame, are too lazy or want to have the vapor trails in a mission without actually editing the mission files.
Please note that 1.0 requires CBA!

Deadeye, our Site Team mate and Armed Assault.info Co-Admin, has been away from the keyboard for some time due to a bicycle accident and some sharp glass bottles debris. He posted a picture in our private forum of his wounds but we do a favor by not showing it to you guys, believe us!
... had an accident with my bike. Fell down and landed in some bottle debris. Some small glass rests ripped/scratched my chest however gladly nothing penetrated my lungs ...
The good new is that's not too serious and that the injuries are healing. We all wish Deadeye a quick recovery.

Jonescrusher released his Real Mortars Mod. No tweaking or scripting required it is all self contained.
This mod is based off of my Mortar scripts. I added 4 charges of each ammo class for more control over the ballistics. Additionally I added a feature that allows you to open the map and click the map to verify target data.
I had planned on releasing it as part of a full artillery conversion pack but realised that I wanted to Do completely different user interfaces and options with the M119 and D30 So I decided to release this as a stand alone mod as the time it will require to finish my othe rprojects might be some time.
I haven't been able to test it on a dedicated server so there is the possibility of an issue. I doubt it, because I had none with the scripts but I am not 100% sure. So if you come across any MP issues let me know I and I will fix it ASAP.
There is the ability to over ride the default settings with the init.sqf I added a copy of the init.sqf in a demo mission. and copies of the text in the readme for how to over ride them.
Features: - High explosive 4 powder charges (High damage 10 meter blast area) - White phosphorus 4 powder charges (Low damage 20 meter blast area) - Target area data (While sitting in mortar open map and single click data will appear in top right of screen) - Registration fire, Returns gun data with impact data. - Ammo restrictions such as reload times and ammo truck proximity. - Default options over ride, Default setting can be changed via the mission "init.sqf" file - All displays are shown Milradians and meters
