Tiscali Games präsentierte eine kurze Vorschau auf das morgen erscheinende ArmA2 Preview. Dank an spoock, der uns über die BI-Foren darauf aufmerksam machte. Ob man dem Preview von Tiscali Glauben schenken darf steht jedoch hinter einem Fragezeichen.
Auszug aus dem Artikel
* Kleine Framerate (20fps) auf PC HW (C2D 3 GHz, 4GB RAM a GF GTX-260 s 896 MB RAM),res.: 1280x1024 und höchsten Details
* die Verminderung war kein Grund für bessere Framerate, sondern die grafischen Details sind dafür besser (Sichtweite unter 5km hat keine Auswirkung auf die Framerate)
* Medium Grafik Details erhöhen Framerate auf 35-40fps
* AI ist nicht so gut im offenem Gelände (Standard Situationen wie wir sie aus ArmA und OFP kennen)
* AI hat Orientierungsproblem an Häusern
* AI geht besser in Deckung

Two little details to this:
1) games tiscali broke embargo date given to all media world wide, which is tomorrow, why they did it, I really don't know. Also I suggest to read their comments with optics of that review of Arma 1: if you see Arma 1 the way their review, I think you will see Arma 2 that way as well: http://games.tiscali.cz/reviews/arma/index.asp.
2) All screenshot posted there made by them have wrong aspect ratio (looks like captured in 16/10 but posted as 4/3) which creates even worse impression.
