  US Army Rangers Multi-cam (Re-textured) Addon release    
OscerMike released his 75th Ranger Regiment Multi-cam units on the BI Forums.

These rangers I bring to you are my first re-texture/texture, I only learn't a week ago how to actually get all this stuff working and I must give Nixo a big shout out for helping me along the process as well as letting me use his multi-cam re-textures as a stable setup. The re-textures are re-textures of BIS ACU soldiers, so shout to BIS for there amazing work and amazing game!

  Chechen Rebels 1.2 by colonel stagler [CO] Addon release    
colonel stagler has released an updated Chechen Rebels 1.2 addon on the BI-Forums. This addon requires ArmA2:Combined Operations (ArmA2 and Operation Arrowhead).

They are basically a retexture of the BI ARMA 2 insurgents, with new identities that use the bearded heads from OA.
They can be found under the GUE side.

v1.2

* The textures are redone to the older lighter worn textures.
* Includes vehicles and armour painted Khaki.
* Includes groups of infantry, mechanised and armour.
* Includes all basic BI insurgent soldier varients.
* Uses custom "Chechen Faces".
* Includes BiKey and Bisign for server usage.

  WZR2 by waterhiro Addon release    
waterhiro has sent us his ArmA2 OA WZR2 Ver2.1 addon along with a YouTube video featuring this new Meca unit.

About 6 weeks after the first stable release for Operation Arrowhead, we are proud to present ACE 1.6! Countless improvements, optimizations and new features available in this latest version!

  CBA v0.7.0 released! Addon release    
Sickboy informed us about the release of CBA v0.7.0 (Community Base Addon) on dev-heaven.net.

The release equals that of CBA included with the latest ACE Stable (v1.6), however as per usual it is signed with official CBA key.
To complete it, we have additionally included the dev-keys and signatures seperately within the archive.

  Microlight aka Powered Paraglider v1.1 Addon release    
konyo released his Microlight aka Powered Paraglider on the BI Forums.

The Microlight aka Powered Paragliding has been released this morning as i promised. Its been a long trip and ive learnt some new stuff in this journey & i hope you enjoy flying this as much as i enjoyed making it.

  SAM Support RC v0.95 released Addon release    
Nordin released a new GUI version of his SAM Support RC v0.95, comes with a lot of new features on the BI Forums.

New release with most request implemented, ACE version only. On station aircraft, support for all vanilla Arma west planes, approach point and more.

  American Law Enforcement/Civilian Vehicle Pack (Beta) Addon release    
Invert22 released a new beta version v1.04 of the American Law Enforcement/Civilian Vehicle Pack for ArmA 2 and Combined Operations on the BI Forums. Addons made by Killerc22 and Coldfuse.

Description
This is the beta release of an American Law Enforcement and also in the future Civilian vehicle pack. This release contains variations of the 2007 model Ford CVPI. The vehicles feature working emergency lighting and sirens that are multiplayer compatible. Aswell as radio chatter when you enter the vehicles. Note:This can be used in ArmA 2 standalone, and Combined Operations.

  HEXAgon Characters and Weapons v2.1 released Addon release    
IkåR from the HEXAgon Mod has released an updated HEXAgon Characters & Weapons v2.1, featuring French COS & Army units and weapons on their Forums.

These small release is all about packs Characters, Weapons, Sounds et Language packs.

This version 2 is a main evolution from the previous one, mainly about compatibility with all ArmA2 versions versions d'Arma2. These packs are Arma2 , Combined Opérations & Opération Arrowhead compatible.
Some functions, such as the ability to use backpacks are only allowed to Arrowhead et Combined Operations users.

  FV432 British APC v 1.2 by cleggy Addon release    
cleggy has released an updated version v1.2 beta on the BI Forums.

I've been messing with the config and have come up with some new variants which I hope will be of interest. Models are unfinished hence the (beta).

First up we have an ambulance version in woodland and desert camo.
In the best traditions of 'Thomas the tank engine' I've named the woodland version 'Florence' (as in Nightingale) and the desert version ... er, 'Florence of Arabia'! If that joke ALONE isn't worth a download - then how about a bit of indirect fire support for your beleaguered Brits from a 81mm mortar carrier?

Comes in two flavours, the _Mortar version is meant for player control, works with the new artillery computer and has the correct weapon defined.

The _ARTY version is meant for AI control, works with the Artillery Module/SOM etc. but is armed with the standard M252 mortar. (I've put this under the BLX_Support tab in the editor).

  Generic Special Forces released Addon release    
Nixo released today an alpha version of his Generic Special Forces on the BI Forums.

Why do I release this?

- I messed up this addon. I created too much work for me to handle. I have hyped everyone with this addon and promised alot of things. But I just can't work on these anymore. I am sorry.
Don't expect any HQ stuff. Credits. DaSquade, for the only HQ stuff on the units. Helmet light& IR strobe

  CDF Conscripts units v1.0 released! Addon release    
Nixo informed the community on the BI Forums that he has released his CDF Conscripts units for ArmA 2 & CO

The marpat is still on the naval units. I kind of like them, so they will wear them for a while, if there is alot of protest against it, then I will probably change it.

Description:
After the Chernarus conflict the Chernarussian government decided that the country needs to start
conscripting young men to the defence forces. The ministery of defence agreed that in order to restore
and maintain peace the defence needed a larger force. All men above 18 years of age will serve atleas 18 months in the defence forces. The most popular branch to serve in is the army, which also is the main force.

There is also an option to join the newly formed Naval Infantry, also known as the marines, which is
a part of the navy. The issued gear is a bit outdated but that is because of economical reasons.

  World Tools v1.7 released Addon release    
shezan74 released a new version v1.7 of his World Tools.

What's new on release 1.7

- Bug fixed: Remapping tool doubles the " character on output files
- Bug fixed: 8 bit indexed images used as mask for Forest Generator were not saved in project file
- Added: Now it's possible to generate and export a single color from world tools forest generator.
- Added: User defined templates are now exportable and re-importable into different projects. It's possible to create a user library for each terrain type.
- Improved: Forest generation placement precision has been reworked to ensure more precision on coastal areas
- Added: sqm file import/export to Visitor 3 is now able to deal with relative heights over the ground. This option requires a checkbox selection and the usage of a CUSTOM IMPORT OBJECTS SCRIPT that must be placed into Visitor3\scripts folder. File is available from the import/export form.
- Added: World tools checks for newer versions on startup
