Tophe of Östgöta Ops released a new beta version v1.1b of his ArmA2 Dedicated Server Tool.
The Armed Assault series allows an amazing array of settings to freely customize dedicated servers. This means you will have to edit quite a few config files to get it running the way you like.
TA2DST is a tool that will greatly simplify this. All you need to do is to choose the settings you like. Then the application will create all necessary files according to your settings and start the server with the appropriate arguments.
All necessary files will be created in a folder called 'TA2DST'. You can save different profiles to easily switch between server setups.
In the folder TA2DST a new folder for each profile will be created. This folder contains all files associated to the profile. Here you will find a file named '.TA2DST'. This contains all your settings for that profile.
You can share your TA2DST settings with the community with this single file.
INSTALLATION============= Copy the file 'TA2DST.exe' to your ArmA2 game folder.
* Note that it's important that the file is in the game root folder, i.e. C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\
* If you are upgrading from an earlier version of TA2DST you might need to delete your old TA2DST folder so the program may create new settings files.
Dslyecxi informed the community on the BI Forums that Rg released the ShackTac Movement addons for ArmA 2.
If you've ever hung up in a doorway, on a tree, or generally found yourself falling all over yourself in close-quarters movement, you're going to get a kick out of this. "ST Movement" is a set of two tiny addons that bring a welcome change to your ArmA2 movement model.
The first, st_collision, is based on an addon concept by Rocko and Kju from the ArmA1 days, redone in ArmA2 by Rg. This addon causes your weapon collision with the environment to be significantly toned down, meaning that you can now move sideways through doorways and generally find CQB to be enjoyable, versus feel like a rusted robot trying to navigate a terrifying alien world called 'indoors'. Try it out and see, it's simple and very noticeable.
The second may or may not be a big deal, depending on how you move around in ArmA2. There is a combination of keys in A2 that, for reasons unknown, triggers you into a several-second-long evasive-sideways animation. Personally, this used to get me in trouble (or killed) frequently. The st_evasive addon simply removes this animation from the player's movement system, preventing any key combination from accidentally triggering it.
Rexehuk from Havoc Company released the Eurofighter Typhoon - Sound Mod based on the RKSL aircraft made by RKSL Studios.
After much internal testing I've decided to release the EUROFIGHTER sound mod for the RKSL plane offered by Rock.
While the RKSL Eurofighter is simply amazing to fly, it lacked that punch and roar that you see from the real jet, this sound mod was aimed to fix that issue.
Features:
100% Reworked Sound Model
- New Get In / Get Out Sounds - New Engine Start up and Shutdown sequences - IDLE sounds and ramping IDLE pitch - Thrust sounds to simulate after burner
colonel stagler has released his Chechen Rebels 1.0 addon on the BI-Forums. This addon requires ArmA2:Combined Operations (ArmA2 and Operation Arrowhead).
I finally finished v1.0 of my Chechen rebels addon. I made these for personal use and for TF86 but they will be released publicly as well. They are basically a retexture of the BI ARMA 2 insurgents, with new identities that use the bearded heads from OA.
* The textures on the final units are darker and have more variety than standard M81 woodland. * Includes vehicles and armour painted Khaki. * Includes groups of infantry, mechanised and armour. * Includes all basic BI insurgent soldier varients. * Uses custom "Chechen Faces". * Includes BiKey and Bisign for server usage. * Many thanks to Ardy for his help and advice.

Here is my first addon ready enough for release to the community. It is not in a "final" stage and will be improved as I continue to learn how to do things It is a (for the time being) static aircraft carrier, with more probably to be added to it in the future, following the release of my Nimitz.
Please feel free to comment on any flaws you find or what it needs. Note this was made with/for ArmA 2. I think it works in OA/CO but there's some weird slight graphical issue.
Features - Umm, it's a floating STOVL airfield - Animated elevators, jet blast deflector, radar - Large internal hangar bay - Automated Phalanx turrets and Sea Sparrows launchers (see note in Readme file)
NouberNou from the ACRE Team has released an updated ACRE - Advanced Combat Radio Environment - Version: 1.0.13.223 HOTFIX1 addon on the BI Forums.
We would like to introduce to you the ACRE mod, in production by various members of the A2 community. The ACRE mod links ArmA2 and Teamspeak3 to create a more immersive environment in which we play in, including positional audio, real radio communications and complete compatibility with the ACE2 ArmA2 project.
We intend to create the most realistic and immersive radio system within the current gaming world; based off of real life experience and knowledge, as well as the use of physical terrain obscuration, radio loss, distortion, and all other considers a real radio operator must make on a daily basis. ACRE v1.0.13 HOTFIX1 Released!
Hot fix released with disabled warning messages till HOTFIX2 or v1.0.14. Sorry about that. I would have rebuilt the DLLs myself but Jaynus wasn't sure if he had committed everything before his PSU went bork. DLL will say 12 in TS3, but ArmA2 should report itself as 13.
guyfawkestom has released an Sahrani Internal Security Troops (beta) addon for Arma2 Combined Operations on the BI-Forums.
Recently I wanted to edit missions on Sahrani/CAA1, and I needed typical Troops to represent Sahrani Security Forces. As PRACS is still WIP, and as I didn't want to do the same (in a worst version), I decided to learn a bit how to retexture and to create a "MVD-like" or Gendarmerie organisation, to kick the B**t of Terrorists-bad guys wannabe.
This is Still a Beta version, and I don't pretend to have produce a top notch unit.

-Changes from the ArmA1 release- Several things were removed from this release because they were either causing problems that would have needlessly delayed a release, or could not be completed in time. Most prominent of these are the Waffen SS units, which were causing crashes. They will be added back in a "Waffen SS" DLC package later on along with other content. Other things that could not be included right now will be either reintroduced in the DLC, or in a patch. The original single-player campaign was removed since it proved hard to port to the new game. It has been replaced by several MP missions, most notably "D-Day" and "D+1".
-Operation Arrowhead / Combined Operations Support- Although the modification will load with Combined Operations it has not been optimised fully and therefore at this time we cannot fully support it. We hope to shift development over to Combined Operations with our first patch so full support is coming!
Operation Arrowhead (standalone) will remain unsupported due to our use of base ARMA2 units. The modification may work but we have not tested the standalone version at all. Edit 30/10/10 : Invasion 1944 v2.2 and I44 Signed DAC_Sounds hotfixes released.
-M1 AT, M3 AT, Pak40, M3 Stuart, M4 Sherman, M8 Greyound, Panzer IV, Tiger, Panther, King Tiger, and StuG/StuH sights fixed.

Icewindo has released an updated Post Apocalypse Units addon on the BI Forums.
This addon needs Combined Ops (ArmA2&OA) So, here's my take on post-apocalyptic units. These guys can be found under independent -> Post APC - Commoners -> Units. Groups can be found under Ice - Post Acalypse. They were loosely inspired by the Terminator Salvation resistance and my own imagination.
